One hopes Trump will replace it with an office to promote free speech abroad, especially in Europe where free speech today is under as much a threat as when communism and fascism were rampant. It is fading fast in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Finland, and elsewhere. Globalism is every bit as much a threat to democracy as any other form of totalitariarism.

Yet Musk just wrote an op-ed in a major German newspaper endorsing the Alterntiv fur Deutcshland in the upcoming German snap election for parliament. One of that party's central policy positions is kicking out the illegal aliens. The globalist parties are screaming "election interference".
It looks like Musk just took the H-1B thing too personally since it has since come out that he himself first came to America on an H-1B visa.

Media bias documented by studies going back well over half a century show the media bias has always been left of center. In the Carter era is was a more moderately liberal bias than the hard left bias it has today. Bobbie is so far off the left end of the spectrum that he falsely sees moderately liberal as "conservative". Heck in the Carter era, I could actually get some real news from the Raleigh News and Observer even though I had to wade through the slant. Now that is hopeless with that rag and so many others.

Time HAS told. It has clearly shown ALL of the dire predictions of the climate alarmists to be nonsense. EVERY ONE that has passed the time it was supposed to happen according to the climate alarmist "experts" has NOT happened. Not a one of them and there are already dozens in that category.
The other way time has told is to look backwards at climate. The Earth has ALWAYS gone through alternating warming and cooling cycles and levels of CO2 have never had anything to do with either. This Canada / Greenland thing is just another one of those silly far left talking points you like to parrot. Trump is playing with Trudeau, who is a globalist idiot and likely on his way out as prime minister, and his main goal is border security on our northern border. Greenland is more of a geostrategetic play. Greenland got its name because during the Medieval Warm Period, when it was warmer than today, farmers were growing crops there.

Think about it. The number one reason the money boys like the idea: tons of fossil fuel and money to be made. Second, after all that fuel gets burned, those northern areas of the globe will be the most inhabitable. Humanity will track North (and South).

He was 100Before the advent of Biden, the polling showed Jimmy Carter was regarded as the worst president in memory, but with the perspective of what Biden has done, or at least what has been done in his name by whoever actually runs his administration, it is much easier to see that Carter actually had some good points, as have been mentioned. Heck, it is possible that if Biden had still had his mental faculties for the last four years, he might well have not been as bad as those pulling his strings have made things. I think one big difference is that Carter always in his own mind meant well, but that has not been the case of those who have been pulling Biden's strings. Carter was not a full blown globalist. Those pulling Biden's puppet strings are.

He was 100One of Jimmy Carter's positive accomplishments was his leadership of the Commission on Federal Election Reform, a bi-partisan effort to address some of the weaknesses in American elections that were highlighted in the 2000 Bush - Gore election. Two of the more significant recommendations of that commission was the need for photo voter ID and that mail-in ballots should be as limited as possible since they are the most prone to voter fraud. Today's Republicans continue to support the Carter commission's recommendations on both subjects. Today's Democrats, however, are vehemently on the opposite side of Carter on both issues.

He was 100Few Americans are even aware of Americana, Brazil, a city founded by thousands of refugees from the Confederate State of America who moved there after the end of the War Between the States. Unlike so many of today's "progressive" (more like Maoist) Democrats, Jimmy Carter respected the heritage of all Americans. That is a trait that is badly missing today as the "progressives" frequently attack our history and our heritage.

A few months later, however, on his first day in office, Joe Biden wiped out all of those refotms. Biden then started allowing things that made the abuses even worse. While we need these visas to continue in line with what they were origianlly intended to be, President Trump now has an even bigger mess to clean up with these visas than he did in 2020.
One of the leading organizations fighting against illegal immigration, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (F.A.I.R.) had a thoughtful proposal for reforming the problematic H-1B visa program long before the current storm broke, including both ideas that President Trump implemented in 2020 and some new additions to prevent the current abuse. One can sort of sympathize with Musk's emotional reaction since it has come out that when Musk himself first came to America, it was on an H-1B visa.

I remember in the 3rd grade when a popular "comeback" line was "it takes one to know one". I really had not heard that comeback line used since then until Little Bobbie started posting that concept in slightly different words. I guess his mind and thinking has not progressed much since the 3rd grade. Most of us have grown out of that childishness.

His visit to Americana, Brazil spoke volumes about his knowledge of true history as well as his rooted lineage. Alongside of that, in a 1978 speech in California, he praised both MLK Jr and General Robert E. Lee....in plain English. There ain't Democrats like Mr. Jimmy anymore, in that sense.
