Tillis has been one of the worst RINOs in the US Senate since he has been there, and before that was a terrible RINO in the NC House. He was orginally recruited to run for the legislature by the corrupt duo of Richard "turncoat" Morgan and slimy Jim Black.

In 2020, we seemed to have a good strong conservative primary opponent, but then Trump screwed the pooch by endorsing Tillis. When he did that at a large Trump rally in North Carolina, there was loud booing. I have heard since that RINO Senate leader Mitch McConnell might have twisted Trump's arm on that one.

That Supreme Court decision against free speech is not quite as bad as it seems in some of the media coverge, although it was a major betrayal by some Trump appointees that was shocking. The court did not rule on the merits of the case just on what is called "stanading" meaning the right of plaintiffs to file a lawsuit. What it means is that the case is being sent back to the federal district court for a hearing on standing and then has to go back through the process again, which will take well over a year to reach the Supreme Court again.

This was a cop out. The SCOTUS should have just affirmed the excellent opinion from the Circuit Court of Appeals. Now there are no constraints on the Biden regime monkeying around with censorship during this presidential election.

Amy Barrett was a particular disappointment. She wrote the cop out decision of the court, and even used the lefty weasel words "content moderation" to describe what is clearly censorship in violation of the First Amendment. Trump could have done a lot better than Barrett to fill that vacancy.

Tillis is awful on just about everything, including immigration and social issues. He also sold us out on gun control. We need to find a strong candidate to primary him in 2026. NEVER TILLIS.

Superintendant Cheeseman does not care about what is good for education in Beaufort County, just about what looks good on his resume to get a higher paying and more prestigious job in a bigger system. Unfortunately, the majority of our school board are little more than seat warmers who do not really engage on school policy but instead just rubberstamp whatever Cheeseman tells them to do. Mack Hodges, T.W. Allen, and Eltha Booth are particularly pathetic examples of this. We need a school board that engages on policy, not the weak fools we have warming so many of those seats now.

Major Islamic terrorist groups have openly boasted about using the migrant stream to insert their operatives into Europe. We should expect that they are using Biden's open border to do the same to the US. It is a matter of when, not if, these illegal alien terrorists strike in the US.

There is an extremely important difference between legal immigrants and illegal aliens as to vetting. With legal immigrants, there are strict background checks, including criminal records, so the criminals and terrorists get weeded out. With the illegal alien migrants, however, none of that happens, especially on Biden's watch.

Sadly, there are two many probation sentences in European countries for illegal aliens who commit rape and sexual assault against local girls and women, and even against boys. The police chief of Paris reported earlier this year that 77% of rapes and sexual assaults in Paris are committed by illegal aliens.

Now, it turns out that Jeremy Bash, who was the husband of CNN debate moderator Dana Bash, was on the payroll as a CIA contractor at the time he signed that letter trying to cover up the Hunter Biden laptop. I hope it is possible to prosecute and jail some of these scoundrels. nypost.com

A little off topic: Why does the Personal Derangement Syndrome person and BB the lefty troll person think it is a good idea to post the exact same comment repetitiously? Just wondering.

Cheeseman says he is building this school for 1,000 students. The enrollment of the two elementary schools he is consolidating is 800, and the system has declining enrollment. Where are the other 200 students going to come from? The two closest elementary schools are Bath and Chocowinity. If I were a parent of a prospective elementary student in Bath or Chocowinity, THAT is what would worry me about this scheme.

Republicans must remember the bungling on this set of debates that let the Democrats set the rules, and bad ones at that. Republicans need to come out early with their expected standards. One needs to deal with moderators, and probably the fairest thing is to have two and let each side name one of them. The other has to do with questions, and the Lincoln-Douglas standard of having the campaigns come up with them or at least some of them is a good one. It is too late for this election cycle, but we simply have to get this right in 2028.

Trump needs to focus on free speech in choosing new SCOTUS members. Kavanaugh and Barrett turned out to be bad choices who went along with that sellout Roberts sweeping the issue under the rug in the most important First Amendment case in decades. Shame on them. I don't give a rat's ass how they stand on abortion. Free speech is far more important.

At the time the demostration and counterdemonstration happened at Charlottesville, there were radicals on both sides, the neo-nazis on one side and the Marxist ANTIFA on the other. If both of them went away, it would be no loss to society. However there were also normal people on both sides who just cared about their own position on the statue, not what the radicals on either side said or did. It was those normal people that Trump was clearly talking about, and if one listens to the whole of his comments, that is very clear. The spin by the MSM and the left is a distortion. IT is late in the game, but I guess it is better late than never that Snopes has finally admitted the truth.

Oh and that video on "fact checkers" says it all. It is great.

When the far left is filing lawsuits over comments on the 2020 election, conservative media have to take defensive measures like this one, Bolshevik Bob. It is really a shame that our country's freedom or speech and freedom of the press is being eroded where media have to take such defensive precautions. But when far left lawyers are suing Gateway Pundit over its comments on the lack of legitimacy of the 2020 election, I understand other conservative media taking these precautions.

That the SCOTUS dodged ruling on the key First Amendment free speech case of Missouri v. Biden on a "standing" issue, makes it imperative that anti-free speech thug Biden be defeated in November. We need a president who will appoint more free speech stalwarts to the court. Biden's one appointee is extremely anti-free speech.

The issue here is proper and transparent financial planning for school construction, something we have had little of here in Beaufort County, something that goes back beyond those individuals involved in the current controversy. The last big bond issue saw very poor planning resulting in schools that are still half empty in some cases. This mega school shows the signs of the same jury-rigged process instead of proper planning. The fact that they are suddenly trying to move the actual location of the school on the property shows how totally inept the planning process was.

This issue is much bigger than Richardson or Cheeseman, "Bath Parent". Richardson is a politician and all politicians have their hits and their misses. Cheeseman is a career bureaucrat and career bureaucrats have their ways of looking at things that are often very different than the perspective of the taxpayers who pay the freight for government.

I would not say Richardson is always right or Cheeseman always wrong, but the questions Richardson is asking on this issue are spot on, and are questions any competent person in management ought to be asking on such a project. What shocks me is so many of our elected school board members and county commissioners just sitting there like deer in the headlights on this $50 million plus project. Do they plan to blame it on someone else when it becomes a boondoggle?

Clearly, "Bath Parent" you have a personal dislike of one person and project that onto any issue he takes a stand on. Most of us focus on the issue.

Nobody is "nervous, Bob. Trump has more brain power than all three of those aligned against him put together. He can handle being triple teamed. I would like to see an objective and neutral venue for a presidential debate for a change. I have spent too many election cycles watching biased leftwing "moderators" trying to skew the debate to their side. The set up on this one is worse than most. Why should we have one of the moderators who has compared one of the candidates to Hitler? Why should we have the second one being the wife of someone who lied in a disgusting dirty trick that threw the last presidential election? There are plenty of qualified and objective people who could moderate a presidential debate. Why should the American voters be stuck with a pair like that controlling the debate by controlling the questions asked?

Illegal aliens are a huge burden on our health system but legal immigrants are not. The reasons are simple. Legal immigrants must undergo an extensive medical examination before a US-designated physician and pass it before they are approved to come to the US. Legal immigrations are known to be healthy before they even arrive. Illegal aliens have no health screening and are not rejected if found to have major medical problems. The second reason is that legal immigrants are, by law, not eligible for Medicaid for the first five years they are in the US. Biden is seeing that illegal aliens get it from the beginning.
