The people are indeed revolting, Bobbie, but it is AGAINST the tyranny of environmental extremism. The new Czech prime minister made opposition to the EU Green Deal, which he labeled "Green Madness" one of his top campaign issues. His junior coalition partner the Motorists for Themselves Party made opposition to EU climate policies its primary campaign issue and on the strength of voter dissatisfaction with those policies entered parliament for the first time.. The party that has been leading in the polls for many months in the UK, the Reform Party, calls the current government's "Net Zero" CO2 policy "Net Stupid" and calls for its repeal. The Conservative Party, which runs either second or a close third in the polls, has also come out against Net Zero. Parties that oppose EU climate policies also lead in the polls in France and Germany, as well as Austria. On the other side of the world, the One Nation Party is Australia, which got only 3% of the vote in last year's election, has now made a major issue of opposing the government's "green energy" policies, and now leads all parties in the polls. One Nation just won a former Liberal Party
Yes, the people are revolting, and it is AGAINST politicians aligned with environmental extremism. And who can forget the massive farmers revolt against EU climate policies a year or two ago where they blocked roads, government buildings, food distribution sites, airports, ports, etc. with farm equipment. Those mass protests began in the Netherlands and spread across much of Europe. Now, a new Dutch government is trying to have another go at the farmers, and a key farmer leader is already calling for a resumption of the farmers mass protests. One of the ways they showed what they thought of the politicians into this climate extremism was to pour large quantities of animal waste on the steps of government buildings.

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisCity Manager Rorie once said, if yu dont like it, take us to court!
Well Brabo did, and now it is costing the taxpayers. That kind of Govt attitude is not one that exist to serve WeThePeople, it exists to assert power over us. It is a kind of govt that is too lazy and arrogant to recognize the needs of the public for law and order. Washington is too little to live under dictatorial powers. Yes, it takes extra work to be a true public servant. Much easier to just ignore the people and dictate to them. File complaints w the State.

Commented on Queen Garris Doubles Down on FinanceThe hypocrisy is off the charts. The same people that will shut down a meeting and call the police before they will answer committee questions or provide a committee report are making demands on everyone else. Of course, they always do it combined with an insult. These nasty party leaders owe the Republican Party Executive Committee and Republicans in general at least a year's worth of reports and answers as well as an apology.

It is SUMMER, Little Bobbie. Summer is the hot part of the annual climate cycle. Haven't you figured that out yet? Don't be surprised when it is COLD in January. Then there is the multi-year El Nino / La Nina climate cycle, in which there are sometimes Super El Ninos, one of which we are currently in. El Nino / La Nina cycles impact both temperature and precipitation.
On top of that are the multi-century climate cycles, alternating warming cycles and cooling cycles. The Earth came out of the last cooling cycles, a paricularly cold one known as the Little Ice Age in the 1800s and is now in a natural warming cycle. We are not yet as hot as it was in the last warming cycle, the Medieval Warm Period, and a long, long way short of how hot it got in the hottest of the warming cycles, the Holocene Maximum. So, don't get your panties in a twist, Little Bobbie. It is all natural, and it has been happening since the Earth has been here.

Commented on Queen Garris Doubles Down on FinanceDavid, You missed the question again. With people of character on the audit committee, the question is "what about the allegations of credit cards". This is a question for the audit committee to answer. Not for you to become hostile about. We will never truly know until people of investigating character serve on the audit committee. Why not allow the conservatives to have two people on the committee?

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisPublic comment at local government meetings is a citizen right created by state statutory law. Who does this arrogant dude think he is that he can unilaterally overrule state law? He is trying to be a little Stalin, and weaklings on the city council are becoming his rubberstamps. We thought things were bad under Sadler, but they have gotten worse. Can we get Bobby Roberson back?

How about now. Hot enough? A/C makes it tolerable however if you want to get a feel for it, turn the a/C off for one week. Hell, one day. At least half of you would end up in the ER.
Seriously the planet is on fire. At some point the people will revolt and hold those in power in both parties responsible. Not that it will matter.

Commented on Washington, N.C., Deserves Better Than ThisThe show last night at City Council didn't disappoint! I think Tyre was a little flustered that the City Manager took it upon himself to block ALL comments from the public without asking the Council. Of course Max was quick to defend Rorie! The new City Manager is a dictator and does whatever he pleases! He probably blocked the public comments because people are catching on to the TRUTH about him. He could care less about Washington, all he wants is that BIG fat paycheck!!!!!

Commented on Queen Garris Doubles Down on FinanceIt looks like the GOP is caught at the hypothetical crossroads that ain't hypothetical anymore.
Our crowd spoke with Executive Committee members in Pitt County about this concern in 2021. We were trying to help them get ahead of the problem and avoid a total future meltdown. When they realized that the solution to the problem involved cleaning house and putting in "boots on the ground" people who don't live in Bizarroworld, who aren't afraid to sensibly question, they looked as lost as a fart in the wind. We knew then that nothing was going to be done, they'd have to leave Bizarroworld. While I do not politically favor several members of the Victory Committee or Executive Committee, they aren't stupid. They know more than they're willing to publicly state the same as we do. They should know by now that the GOP, as a whole, MAY have to distance themselves from the "stupid" due to changing demographic atmosphere. The face of the GOP has changed and is changing. Stances have changed

Commented on Queen Garris Doubles Down on FinanceSeveral things are going on here. This executive committee was formed in early 2025. Why are they just getting around to creating their Audit Committee in mid-2026? The just formed Audit Committee itself is made up of Victory Committee members and friends of Victory Committee members. No consent vote by the Executive Committee. It's pretty easy to see what these folks are up to.
So, what are we left with: It must be Gremlins. Nameless Gremlins spent on those campaign items. Nameless Gremlins authorized campaign spending. Nameless Gremlins have harmed good Republicans using the name of the Republican Party. How convenient. How ridiculous.

Commented on Queen Garris Doubles Down on FinanceDavid, Any Republican is allowed to ask questions about Republican Party activities and finances. Refusing to have anyone other than the "Buds" on the audit committee is suspicious. If you have nothing to hide allow two conservative Republicans to serve on the Audit Committee. Secrecy and dictatorial control makes everyone suspicious. Behavior, Behavior, Behavior.
Your filings with boards of elections are and have been incomplete. Why the secrecy of the Victory Committee and your crowd always taking every question as an insult.

Commented on Queen Garris Doubles Down on FinanceHood, I reported during the meeting that your concerns over late reports had been resolved with a letter stating that their response to my Request for Waiver was valid and the fee waived. This was in November of 2025.If NCSBE shared your concerns, your "in my opinion" doesn't hold water. If NCSBE shared your concerns would they have waived a penalty. Every time you make these accusations in a public forum you are proving yourself to be a pompous jerk. You accused the party of having Credit Cards. Provide proof of these charges. As I told you at the last meeting, you are making statements that are outright lies and you are doing so in a public printed forum. I will be contacting an attorney. You should be digging for proof for your blatant lies.

Commented on FBI joins investigation of sudden and mysterious death of US Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC)Many would argue that Mitch McConnell has been brain dead for quite some time. He has been little but a puppet of the special interests, the Democrats, and even the Red Chinese. There is something being covered up in this latest incident but it is hard to tell what. A recent written statement, allegedly from McConnell said he was hospitalized for "a fall" but that contradicts the report of the EMTs who picked him up.
I hope that the true results of those toxicology tests on Graham's body are made public and with Kash Patel involved, I think they will be. People who are inconvenient to Putin in Russia have in the past year of two had an uncanny habit of falling out of windows in tall buildings. Some call it the Moscow Skydiving Club. But one was ruled to have committed suicide by shooting himself three times in the head. Outside of Russia, people who were inconvenient to Putin have more likely succumbed to various types of poison. One hopes that is not the case with Graham, who was certainly a person inconvenient to Putin. It is concerning that the media is harping on preliminary results when the medical examiner himself says final results are "pending" waiting for the toxicology tests. We know that it was cardiac arrest, and what part of the heart was involved tells us little. The toxicology tests will hopefully tell us whether that was triggered by natural causes or something else.

Commented on Democrat state elections body says they have no duty to keep foreigners off voter rollsThere was a poll among illegal aliens in California some years ago that found that 24% of them said they were voting in US elections. One wonders what that percentage is today.
It was telling that the illegal alien arrested in Iowa who was Superintendent of Schools is De Moines was also registered to vote and actually voting in Maryland and it took months to get him off the voter rolls in Maryland after his Iowa arrest. Some illegal aliens are using identities of Americans in identity fruad, and probably register that way, but this Des Moines superintendent and many others were using their actual names.

That 53% of gang rape suspects are "foreigners" (illegal aliens) in Germany is bad enough as that is several multiples of their percentage in the population, but it gets even worse when one considers that police statistics in Germany include a number of categories of migrants as "Germans". One analysis was done of German crime statistics relying on the first name of the suspects rather than the nationality as assigned by the police. Names like "Mohammed" and "Abdullah" were clearly not German even if the police classified them as German. When that sort of analysis was done, the crime statistics for criminals of a migrant background rose 20 to 30 points higher than police statistics.
In the Spanish region of Catalonia, where police were more honest in nationality statistics, the official reports show that 91% of the rapes and sexual assaults were by "foreigners" and this means migrants, not tourists or visiting businessmen. Some German feminist groups have been calling these migrants "rapefugees".
