Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingThe A-holes wont even return phone calls or emails!
What they want from the constituents is to butt-out, except when the tax bill comes due. They want our $$ but not us. The county is better than the City but still not good. I recall Randy Walker saying they had a hearing on taxes and no one showed up. Well, its not hard to learn that WeThePpl will be ignored regardless. I'm not going to beg them to practice good govt. I'm fed up with all of them, why do they circle the wagons against us? So when we contact a U.S. Senator, we understand they are probably really busy...but what is the excuse for the officials of a town of less than 10,000.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingWashingtonian, The thug-ocracy around Sadler and Tyre has made this town a pint-sized banana republic. Their goon squad sent to intimidate the customers and employees of Fritz' restaurant and then to go to Fritz' home in Smallwood to threaten his family was reprehensible. Their campaign on the internet to intimidate Joe Davis is reprehensible. It is still unclear what their approach to Perrault may be. They are trying to marginalize Brabo.
Citizens need to rally around the elected officials not subservient to Sadler and Tyre. We need an end to this era of dirty local politics.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingThe Sadler clique seems to be going after those who won the 2025 city election. What they did to Nick Fritz is appalling. They are also clearly targeting Joe Davis in a different way. One wonders what cards they have played with Perrault to get him to participate in the attacks on Joe Davis? Brabo, Davis, and Parrault are all on the target list of this power mad group, and if they are smart they will all comprehend that they need to hang together so that they will not hang separately. The first part of that is for Perrault to recognize that he needs to get off of Tyre's bandwagon. They want to end his political career as much as they do those of Fritz, Davis, and Brabo.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council Meeting"The Shadow," What do yu think we can do about it? From where I'm
sitting, it appears to me that the majority of the commenters on Beaufort County NOw, would rather talk about one of the other 50 states, DC, or even a foreign nation. The Cabal is currently trying to destroy Davis. Why? I guess because he wont obey.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingSomeone posted that the pressure on Nick Fritz was a possible boycott of his business, It was worse, a lot worse. It reflects the thug-ocracy Washington lived under until last December and that wants to come back to power in the worst way.
What happened at Fritz' restaurant was that some thugs showed up to harass customers. They were big burly guys of the same ethnicity as Sadler and Tyre. At first they just hung out in front of the restaurant intimidating customers. Then they started coming inside, raising a ruckus, and harassing his employees as well as customers. What could Fritz do? If he took any action, they would undoubtedly scream "racism". Anything he did would hurt his business. Then, it got worse, the same thugs started threatening his family. No elected official signs up for that kind of treatment. The head thug now seems to have left town, probably using his intimidation tactics on someone else. Washington has lost one of its best council members in some time.

Commented on Cooper evacuated during May 2020 riotingOne thing that many Conservatives have forgotten:
Pat McCrory was declared winner of the 2016 Governor's race UNTIL Cooper contested the election results due to votes "mysteriously found" in Durham County. The polls even shut down for several hours during that election, everybody knew they were "stealing" it when it happened. This has nothing to do with HB2 but it did, the insurance companies. McCrory was the roadblock preventing the monuments from being pillaged for insurance purposes. Cooper, of course, knew this. McCrory also wouldn't have gone along with the whole COVID narrative. Cooper also knew this too; McCrory costed him more money than he made him. In an alternate timeline, folks would have raised hell about Cooper throwing the election and asked hard questions. The outcome would have been completely different.

I'm reminded of what Uncle Hood and I were discussing here within the last week; he agreed with a hard truth about the midterms that establishment Republicans are sidestepping big-time.
President Trump made a statement, within the past week or two, that's going to cost him the midterms and '28 if he bulls**TS on this one: "When all of this is over, gas will be lower than ever..cheaper than ever before." If the price of gas continues to rise or maintains current trend, Trump and anyone endorsed by him's not going to fair well at the public poll.. especially down here. Conservatives in VA put their Commonwealth GOP on notice when they rejected Youngkin's Globalist lineup and didn't vote period. THAT'S the ugly truth that Uncle Hood was mentioning. People aren't going to stand for it and they're going to leave the politicians holding the bag. Whatever happens after that is up to the Almighty, we ain't got no control over that.

Commented on complaint filed against NC high school for allowing biological male in girls locker roomThere should also be criminal complaints filed with the magistrate in these situations. Criminal warrants should be prosecuted against a biological male undressing in a girls locket room with girls present, exposing himself and watching them for 1) indecent exposure, and 2) peeing tom/. Lock them up! And why would the principal who allowed that not be an accessory to those crimes?

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingIt is inconceivable to me that our local governments do not seek applicants for top management positions from the private sector. When I served in the Jim Martin administration in state government, almost all of our top management personal got their management experience in the private sector, NOT the public sector, and it worked fine. The bigger the pool of applicants for a local management job, the more choices the governing body has.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingSo, Beaufort County has a NEW County Manager!
www.thewashingtondailynews.com Its Tim Corley...who will continue to live in Pitt County, and keep working at a second job. Dont we deserve more? ...at last he didnt come from the DOT. Meanwhile back at the Washington battle stations on Facebook, the key-board warriors have posted a petition to remove duly elected councilman Joe Davis. At this point he must be beginning to feel like DonaldTrump, a man with a bloody target on his back. If anyone here starts to feel sorry for their selves, just look around at some of our folks who have real trials to bear. If that's not your cup of tea, look at the victimized citizens of North Korea, who are 10 inches shorter than those in South Korea, but are brained washed to sincerely believe they have a REALLY GREAT life thanks to the "Dear Leader."
