BB identity: I don't know who you are addressing. If it is me, I can't imagine what makes you legitimately arrive at such a conclusion. Simply and broadly put, a position of unity rather than division is not a position excluding anyone.

DEI is indeed about excluding whites, but it is even more sinister than that. America has always been about equality of opportunity. DEI embraces the Marxist comcept of equality of result and that is un-American and anti-American. As Martin Luther King said, people "should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin."

The Orwellian Newspeak definition of "equity" used by the far left as part of DEI is pure Marxism.

I notice they keep covering up the political party membership of the jurors, which is extremely relevant in a political case like this one as to whether the jury is fair or not. I have a gut feeling that this is likely because it is an all-Democrat jury. That would more be a lynch mob than a jury.

I can't wait for the Special Prosecutor on election interference next year with Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, Jack Smith, and Juan Marchan, as well as others as criminal defendants. The Biden DOJ sent a humorist to prison for "election interference" for a satire on the asinine things Democrats were doing on voting methods. That has set the bar very low for prosecuting those who have abused prosecutorial and judicial offices for outright election interference.

That is not where "hate speech" laws suppress free speech, Bob. A prime example is a French senator prosecuted for "hate speech" for a social media post "immigration kills" after a brutal rape and murder of a young French girl by an illegal alien migrant. If you stand up against illegal immigration, the "hate speech" gestapo is likely to go up against you. Ditto, if you disagree with the current "gender ideology" as several Franch feminists have found out the hard way. Theses attacks on free speech by government are an assault on democracy.

While the full 24-member board needs to vote on the policy before it takes effect, there are many questions about what it would mean for diversity and job cuts. You pulled those numbers out of the air, Bobbie. Even the fudged CDC numbers do not say that, and have FLorida much lower than third.

The CDC always refused to separate those who died "from Covid" from those who died "with Covid". Hospitals in the US were paid extra if a patient was listed as having died with Covid, so it incentivized hospitals to fudge the numbers. There were way too many cases where Covid had absolutely nothing to do with a death, but it was listed as "with Covid" because the patient tested positive. One widely reported example was a man who died of a motorcycle accident in Florida who was listed as dying "with Covid" because his body tested positive. Then there were a number of deaths by gunshot in a western state listed as dying "with Covid". A conservative pundit pointed out "Not only does Covid seem to be armed but it appears to be a pretty good shot. Who knew?"

The medical statistical agency in Italy finally had enough of the fake 'with Covid" stats and took the initiative without asking their government to unilaterally revise their stats to only include those dying "from Covid". Their overall numbers dropped by about 90%. It is unfortunate that our CDC did not have the integrity to do the same.
