My point is you are looking at 5 more years of nothing regarding an issue you care about. Given half the country is a lot like me, you will have to compromise. I suppose you can hold out for better terms but at some point everybody has to give.

In addition, it's an election year and it has been effective wedge against the democrats. So maybe thats more important than solving a real problem. Maybe thats why my side sees your passion for cruelty as disingenuous.

Only thing left to do is roll the dice.

Trump's border policies were working. Biden's are not. Biden is trying to flood the country with illegal aliens for political purposes. The only border bill that Republicans approved of is HR2 in the House. RINOs beholden to the special interests like Lankford, McConnell, and Tillis tried to slip a Biden open borders plan by the Senate, but real Republicans stood up and blocked it. House Speaker Johnson was fighting the Lankford disaster from the begining, and it is good that Trump lates jumped in to help. It is good to see the Oklahoma GOP withdrawing all support from the worthless traitor Lankford and hopefully they will help kick him out of the Senate next election. Sinema's connection with this awful bill probably sinks her re-election chances this year, too.

The GOP never approved of the Lankford bill, only a small cadre of traitors within the party and they will be dealt with. The Lankford bill is an open borders bill, NOT a border security bill, and it is the latter that the American people want.

States need to take the bull by the horns like Texas is doing, but they need to go a step further and start indicting Biden regime officials on state criminal offenses like being accessories to human smuggling. Jail Mayorkas and his underlings.

Republicans are correct in being afraid of Biden's anti-American open border policies, because if you have no border, you have no country.

Question; if Biden wins, what are you going to do about the boarder then? Since the GOP defeated a bill they approved in the hope trump can take credit. There is no guarantee of that. In fact the opposite is way more likely. What then? You are looking at 5 years of nothing all because nobody will stand up to fat orange boy.
I always say MAGA cant govern. This proves it.

That would be sweet. Every seat in a state government legislative body occupied by members who wants to crack down on illegal immigration. Wish we could do the same in America, but having a majority should be plenty, and I think that will happen a lot of places this year. Not only is Berger no friend of conservatives or conservative principles, he is no friend of Beaufort County. Berger was behind the gerrymandering of our last Senate district which was dominated by Democrats and was a majority black district. Berger did that to us because he wanted to get rid of the strongest voice of reason against expensive and unreliable "green energy" in the senate, Senator Bill Cook. Berger was clearly already plotting with Cooper and the special interests to impose the Green New Deal, and Sen. Cook was the guy standing in the way. Berger got him out of the way by gerrymandering Beaufort County into a district that was totally illogical while drawing Cook's old district for green energy cheerleader Rep. Bob Steinburg.

Berger is a total scumbag, doing deals with Cooper and the special interests that screw real Republicans. Any candidate aligned with Berger should be defeated. A candidate aligned with Berger is no different than a candidate aligned with Liz Cheney or Mitt Romney.

Berger was indeed the liberal responsible for killing legislation to end sanctuary counties in North Carolina. He is on the wrong side of immigration issues, another Thom Tillis, whom Berger has ambitions of succeeding in that US Senate seat. When I see Brinson claiming to be against illegal immigration, but running as Berger's candidate, a red flag goes up. Neither are to be trusted.

The Republican position on the invasion by illegal aliens is set out in HR2 in the House of Representatives, and it is a strong position on border security. A similar strong position on border security is set out in both the state and national Republican Party platforms. In the Senate, Mitch McConnell who has always been soft on immigration issues since he is in bed with the ChiComs, sent another soft on imigration fool, Lankford, to do a sellout with Schumer. That sellout of the Republican platform and the Republican base backfired. House Speaker Johnson and the House Majority leader Scalise have both said that the Lankford sellout is "dead on arrival" in the House. A growing parade of Republican senators have announced their opposition to the Lankford sellout and there is growing appetite to depose the traitor McConnell as GOP Senate leader.

PHil Berger has played a shell game with taxes because he refuses to cut spending. He gives tax cuts one place but raises taxes another. Real Republicans cut taxes and spending.

In the State Senate race, Bob Brinson still in his first term as New Bern alderman (city council) has already voted to raise taxes. In four terms in the State House, Mike Speciale never voted to raise our taxes. The candidate who is for the taxpayer is very clear there, and on top of that, Mike Speciale was one of the founders of the Coastal Carolina Taxpayers Association, and served as its past president. Speciale is for the taxpayer and Brinson is against us.

WE don't need Berger Boy Brinson as our senator.

Compared to The Hood, I have often endeavored to exhibit a bit more of a statesman like quality, and now, once again, I well understand what The Hood may well consider: Why bother! It will never make any difference for these vote swapping, power sharing, Biden-like fools. Maybe, The Hood makes a saliant point in treating others how they truly wish to be treated.

No adult, with a full working brain, would ever argue that Republicans control the Beaufort County Board of County Commissioners. I have known that since I was elected in 2018, my third general election win as a non incumbent, a first in this county for either party in modern times.

As one of the two real Republicans faithfully serving their real constituents here in Beaufort County, I am reassessing quite a bit of strategy here as a county commissioner.
