According to a friend in New Bern, in just the partial term he has served on the city council, Brinson has already voted to raise taxes. And Brinson calls himself a conservative? I don't think Speciale ever voted to raise taxes his entire four terms in the NC House. A tax raiser is NOT a conservative in my book, although he seems to play one on postcards.

Hmmm! The man who killed the most important gun rights legislation last legislative session, Phil Berger with Constitutional Carry, recruits and supports this Brinson candidate, and Brinson then tries to tell us he is pro-gun?????? What is wrong with that picture? Does it make any sense? Is Brinson just trying to tell us what he thinks we want to hear, or is he naive enough not to know that Berger will own him if he gets to Raleigh? Speciale was one of the leading champions of gun rights when he was in the House, and it is Speciale we can depend on to defend gun rights, not Berger's boy Brinson.

Boycots of legislative sessions to get concessions is a legislative tactic used around the world, and has been used in America mostly by Democrats. In Oregon, when it was used by Repubilcans, the Democrats got this ballot measure passed which was contrary to the Constitution to try to prevent use of this legislative tactic.
The political hacks on the all-Democrat state Supreme Court ignored their own state Constitution to uphold a measure that clearly contradicted it. Seems like the usual Democrat twisting of Constitutions. Hopefully all those counties which want to join Idaho will be able to get out of the tyrannical socialist mousetreap called Oregon.

Actually what happened was that the citizens passed a ballot measure stating any legislator, of either party, with 10 or more unexcused absences from work would be fired, by not being allowed to run for re-election. The measure passed and the court upheld it. Seems fair. If I skip work for 10 days, I would be fired. So would you.
If you got a job, show up. Or suffer the consequences.

The Peoples Republic of Oregon is one of the role models for all "blue" states. This is a blatant assault on democracy and free elections, but that is nothing new for Democrats. This tyrannical move by the Democrats will probably help intensify the Greater Idaho Movement which seeks to move central and eastern Oregon counties, geographically about two thirds of the state, to leave Oregon and join Idaho. Resolutions in favor of this realignment have already passed most of the counties involved.

This is where you have to be your own advocate and do your own research on anything that is suggested or prescribed before you allow it to be done or taken into your body. Don't blindly trust anything. New drug, do a drug interaction checker with other drugs and supplements you are taking and any food they may react to. Doctors can prescribe but it is up to you if you put it into your body or allow it to be put into your body. Doctors don't always tell you everything or the truth. Verify everything. The final decision is yours.

Having served as a political appointee in the Jim Martin administration for five years, I have seen first hand how the success or failure of a governor depends on their management ability and their ability to properly staff an administration. Martin was a successful governor because he himself had strong managerial abilities and surrounded himself with others who also did, and because he staffed his administration with principled conservative Republicans who shared his vision of government. Martin cruised to reelection. On the other hand, Pat McCrory was a failure at both management and staffing, and those failures led to his being a one term governor.
The only one of the three candidates who has proven management and staffing abilities in government is Dale Folwell, who is superb at both. Mark Robinson is at the other end of the spectrum, having totally failed to hire a competent staff or exhibit any management abilities even for the small Lieutenant Governor's office. Folwell is also the only one who has proven he has the backbone to actually deliver on conservative policy. It is all well and good to talk about policy, but the key is actually delivering on it. It is clear to me that Folwell can handle the job while is it highly unlikely that Robinson could.

Six of our school board members have a record of only listening to Cheeseman, not to the public. I doubt they will change, so voters will need to change our five of them in this years election, so we get school board members who listen to the public instead of being puppets of a leftwing bureaucrat.

Stan, an illegal alien is no more an "undocumented immigrant" than a street corner drug dealer is an "unlicensed pharmacist". The immigration statutes in the United States Code define these interlopers as "illegal aliens". That is the correct legal term for them under the laws of our country.
There should be zero tolerance of ANY crime, no matter how slight, by these moochers who should not be in our country in the first place. Any crime committed should be their immediate ticket home. Biden is not even sending them back for serious crimes. We need Trump to be our deporter in chief. Pakistan just rounded up and deported half a million illegal aliens in three months. We can do even better than that if we have a president with the will to do it.

Actually, it is their planned vehicle to seize power in all future elections by creating the United States of America's abrupt Demographic shift to make all democratic elections a sure thing by granting full amnesty to these Illegals (we are now back to discussing this reality like a non idiot adult), so that your hard won right to vote is soon be cancelled by those publicly-funded-Illegals-granted-amnesty-by-non-patriot-Leftists.
Of course, there will always be those virtue signaling Leftists that will cry out: "There are no Illegals;" just like, "there are no non patriots!" Yeah ... Right. Now in this real world of every outrageous negative action deserves an equally positive reaction; just wait for the future reality of far too many Republicans getting elected to congress, while Real Republican Patriots occupy the White House for at least the next 12 years, and then, be patient, and consider, "What Happened(!)," as the Massive Deportations begins, while The Wall is finally Completed, and then it will be certain that OUR Constitutional Republic is nearly saved from those that wish to destroy US. Mark Robinson is being exposed as a phoney. He is little more than a puppet of uber-RINO Phil Berger. Berger did not want Robinson taking stands on actual issues in the General Assembly so Robinson said "yes, Boss" and went silent on issues. Now, Berger has given him a list of RINOs to endorse, including Brinson in this district, and Robinson again says "yes, Boss" and does it. Berger is galloping leftward on a wide range of issues, and Robinson is going right along with him. North Carolina can do better.

That is a red herring from the climate alarmists. A good example is looking at the 20th century. Most of the warming happened during the Depression when industrial production was more limited. After the Second World War, when industrial production really took off, temperatures fell. They did not start rising again until the next recession. The temperature pattern, even within the current natural warming cycle simply does not fit with industrial production.
For your Chicken Little crowd, the Industrial Age conveniently started just as the most recent cooling period, the Little Ice Age was ending, so of course temperatures went up coming out of a cooling period.
