A firm man like Hood is needed to even the scales because of Nancy boys. Hood has served the county for years and he has earned the respect he is due just being an elder alone. Why would folks run when they see him coming if it weren’t for a guilty conscience?
His generation doesn’t waste much time worrying about feelings but gets down to brass tax. Personally I’m glad to still have this generation around. If people would hold their conversations with this man in respect, instead of the condescending smirking manner I have witnessed at meetings, I’m sure they would get a lot further with him.

What policies are those specifically Bob? If you are trying to debate ideas, then blanket statements will not suffice. As active as you are on this “rag” it would seem you have a sincere interest in what the other side believes. I take it you are a donkey party at heart but I’m sure that at the base of things we agree, I just believe your perspective abilities need a little fine tuning.

I firmly believe that the whole Biden family, starting with Joe Biden on down, has been involved in corruption and crimes for years.

Hood, you are almost correct about your statement, "There is some good news in the political battle between conservative Republicans and RINOs. During the 2020 and 2022 elections more than half of the total votes cast were for conservative Republican candidates."
First, I thought your optimistic estimate was too low; then when I thought better of it, in retrospect, I realized that your estimate was too high in a sense of optimism due to the Democrat-turned-Republican-promising-Conservatism paradigm. It is not panning out, and it never truly has. There is one note of optimism, this platform is reaching more people with the real truth, and so is your Beaufort County Conservative Republican PAC.

Is any one surprised that HR would be excluded? We have all seen that guy in action most flee when they see him coming.
It’s a shame cause with a little civility I’m happy to include his perspective. Along with all the others.

Absolutely do not agree with Senate Schumer, Lankford or McConnell; their plan would effectively end our country as a nation. They all three, plus any other senators who agree with them, should be voted out of office as soon as possible.

It is not just the sorry Superintendent to blame people need to investigate the previous Chief Academic Officer who is now at Martin County. She will ruin that district & waste tax dollars. There are other puppets including the Assistant Superintendent/HR Director. This circus of a district has not only wasted tax payer money the toxic leadership behavior is unfortunately now being a learned behavior in the classroom. This is a major reason this district is failing. Look at the percentage of students who have left already. Parents are fed up with the sorry leadership and board members who are doing nothing about it.

THis reminds me of medical schools admiting students on quotas instead of qualifications, but who wants the quota doctor to be the one operating on them? Just another example of how the radical DEI ideology can kill people. There are many ways real people can DIE from DEI. We need to keep it out of our schools and our community college.

A favorite slogan of the communists has been "history is on our side", and the modern far left in America has somewhat modified that to "the right side of history". Now Bolshevik Bob is invoking the very same concept as his "comrades".

I agree with one thing the so called 'truthful agitators' are saying. The voters ARE watching what is going on in Beaufort County. What Beaufort County residents with half a working brain see is a bitterly divided county Republican Party led by haters. They hate conservatives. They hate most natives. They hate the truth. They have utter distain for the party platform. They disregard procedures and rules, and they are capable of damned near anything.
When they want to exclude people from their clique, they will say or do whatever it takes to do it. In the case of HR, they can't stand having him in the party, so they make up some claptrap story about how an ex-officio member can be excluded. Here's reality: Ex-officio members cannot be legitimately excluded, because they are there because of their position as ELECTED Republicans. Those ex-officio folks DO have a right to participate in the meetings, make motions and engage in discussions. They cannot vote unless they have been elected by the convention or by special election by the executive committee between conventions. Hood is not the only local Republican being shunned by the present-day leadership cult. In the last convention they made controversial and hotly contested special rules so as to be able to cast off the people they don't like. That was a hostile departure from the wise practices set up by better leaders from the past. They also have special rules for themselves - which means they pretty much have NO rules for themselves! There are too many examples of that to bother listing. Fact is, there are 4X4 truckloads of examples of the backstabbing and hatefulness. Don't believe me? Just ask some of the long-gone people that USED to be active in the local party what they think. There is an extended list of those folks.

Everyone can join Eastern NC NOW and receive the status of User, some can be upgraded to the status of Writer and submit posts for publication by using one of two editors offered, which has far better publishing tools than Fakebook. And then there is the Private Messaging system that I use continually to communicate with others that use this platform as one of their top messaging systems. Join, and you can check a box to remain logged in. This system is an alternative to social media for many. We certainly have a far easier system to use as an informational archive since we spread it wide by employing the variation of categories.

The illegal aliens among these mobs supporting the Hamas terrorists should be rounded up and deported. Those with green cards should be processed to remove their residency permits and they, too, should be deported. We do not need these tools of neo-nazi Hamas in our midst.

Bill Kristol, the liberal Republican who was behind the effort to unseat our longtime conservative Congressman Walter Jones, has now endorsed Haley, and that is just one more reason to work hard to see that she gets neither spot on the national ticket. Kristol is bad news and so is Haley.
There is also polling out showing that liberal Democrats are switching parties to vote for Haley in the Iowa caucuses. Over a third of those who plan to vote for her are people who identify as Democrats, while only a minority of her supporters identify as Republicans We do not need to let these interlopers interfere in our nomination process.

Commented on Insanity by the Beaufort County School BoardThe driving force behind this unneeded school is the Superintendant, who wants it for a resume item for when he seeks to move up to a larger and better paying school system. It is really about building a resume to benefit an individual, not building a school to benefit students. The sad part is that the majority of our school board are weak and easily controlled yes-men and yes-women who function as puppets of the superintendant. We need new school board members who will represent the voters and taxpayers instead of just representing the superintendant and his interests. This is particularly essential when we have a superintendant who is a total control freak like Cheeseman.

Commented on Insanity by the Beaufort County School BoardWill: Here is the crazy part. They are proposing to noisily build this unneeded school in a space adjoining the current Eastern Elementary, then tear down the school after the new school is built at a staggering price of 383.00 per square foot on land that is not at the highest point of the campus.
I have lived the vast majority of my life in Beaufort County, and the strict rule of thumb is that one always build on the highest ground available.

It is no wonder so many local Methodists Churches have left the United States Methodist Church and opted to fall under the dominion of the much more fundamental African Methodist Church that has not given up basic Christianity in favor of embracing neo-Marxism.
The attack on words and word meanings as well as inventing words is one of the most diabolical attacks on civilization ever devised. ![]()
