It’s true. Ask any Native American. White peoples love their paper, until they don’t.

John Valley: Oh, the "5-2" you speak of is the number of Real Republicans versus the Center - Left Coalition of like minded politicians, who caucus as a voting block on essential bipartisan inspired /Democratic Socialist issues.

A version of that political equation has existed for nearly two decades here in Beaufort County, and NO, I am not nervous of that long standing paradigm because I fully realize that there many Real Republicans in Beaufort County, all whom well understand the RINO problem that does exist here locally, and are hopeful that this very real situation will become common knowledge among the electorate.

In case you are not aware: My election vote total in the 2022 general was the highest I have ever received in a Limited Voting contest (my candidacy as my constituents' voice led all Republicans on that ballot), so I do fully realize that I have a constant constituency, who vote for me for a variety reasons, but chief among them is that I Do NOT vote swap with Democratic Socialists on issues important to Leftists.

Accordingly, I will not change what I hold myself out to be; however, this publication (the largest in the history of Beaufort County) of which we have created from "soup to nuts" from total scratch, is on a very fine rise, and the truth is being heard more and more by locals and those from a far distance. Therefore, In all functional truth: Sunlight is the greatest political disinfectant; these journals are a permanent archives of all that is topical and is real.

Response to Mr. Deatherage: No, sir. I'm not referring to the illuminati when I'm talking about "5-2". "5-2" is the number you yourself gave out when you were categorizing your fellow commissioners. It tells me and everybody else with a good third eye that somebody's getting nervous because the bettin' odds don't look to good for the small group Hood and yourself represent. I'm not being funny when I say that either.

It's a shame that our county couldn't put together a dream team to carry on after 2020.

Carolyn Garris: No one is disputing the essential need for electronic recordation; the issue is the absolute need for hard copies if there should be an Electronic Magnetic Pulse (EMP), massive solar flares (not unlike the Carrington event of 1859); or probably more eventual, the weaponized hacking of the governmental informational infrastructure.

With North Carolina being one of two Race to Record states, it is critical to protect the continuation of accessible recorded documents, regardless of the condition of the electric grid; regardless of the viability of data stored on solid state drives.

I interviewed NC Treasury Secretary Dale Folwell yesterday, which will be featured on Eastern NC NOW early next week.

I met Dale some time ago when he was running for elected office, and have talked to him at political /governing events many times over the years, especially the ones I attend in Raleigh; however, I never fully realized how deep his governing well ran until I interviewed him for about 25 minutes on Friday, January 12th, of which I will provide a transcript with some Zoom video.

It will be a most informative article for those seeking real information to aid in their making the right decision for the Republican nominee for North Carolina's governor here in the 2024 general election.
Commented: Saturday, January 13th, 2024 @ 11:04 am By: Stan Deatherage
I concur that Dale Folwell is both the strongest general election candidate we have and the one most likely to be successful is pursuing the conservative agenda in government. I also concur that Bill Graham is both our weakest general election candidate and the least likely to push the conservative agenda. I don't think Graham can get around his farmer problem that he created for himself. The skeletons in Robinson's personal closet may or may not stick in a general election. Folwell is a staunch conservative who takes the bull by the horns and gets things done. Robinson does a whole lot of talking but almost no "doing". Graham talks a good game now but it does not match his past positions on issues, and then you have to look at who he surrounds himself with poltiically.

The problem is that who would be the strongest candidate in a general election may not be the strongest candidate in a primary. Graham has dumped $5 million of his own money into his primary campaign to try to buy the election, like his role model John Edwards did. Robinson's speaking ability has given him a huge head start in terms of name recognition and raising out of state money. Folwell has a lot of hurdles to overcome to win the primary in a shorter than traditional primary season. That state employees endorsement will indeed be a huge help in winning the general election but most of thier members will not be voting in the GOP primary, so it is only of marginal help there.

HR's attack on Carolyn is uncalled for and typical. Zero people skills.

Ai - now that should scare the crap out of you. most of you get hung up on conspiracy theory stuff while AI is oh so real.

No Brent, we are resolved NOT to use AI in any of the writing for this site.

We prefer what is human.

As you have stated here, one with a discerning eye can tell the difference.

Hey, I noticed your website isn't using AI yet, can I send over something that I think would help?

It is written:
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. Deuteronomy 4:2

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:18-19

John Valley: I'm not understanding your point. Is this about the Illuminati again?

I will need more of a firm reference point to an issue here, or I will not be understanding any of this.

Provide me that firm point of reference to that now unknown issue and I will give you an honest answer.

What I'm saying is 5-2, Mr. Deatherage. That's a generous number. A lot of people don't want to be real and really say what is scaring the GOP. A lot has happened since 2020 and people have noticed things they usually wouldn't before.

The younger people aren't flocking to either of the parties and the lifeline's ran out on MAGA for the most part. People my age and younger are of the opinion that Trump is the good cop and Biden the bad cop with both being decoys for something else that people are waking up to.

There are no Democrats and Republicans now really. It's people who know it's all a crap show versus people who still believe a fairy tale of the old days. They won't change and won't let it happen meanwhile the good people on both sides are ready to get on with business.

To answer your question again: 5-2. That's what my other comment has to do with the board.

The misnomer "Truth Seeker" is now back on Eastern NC NOW for the 3rd time after promising to 'leave and never come back.' Not too much truth in that prior statement; I'm sensing a pattern.

Big Bob, the woman it happened to didn’t think it was wacky. What about the woman he tried to assault at the convention.

Response to Washingtonian. Just for clarification, no deeds or recorded documents were discarded. There was a lot of trash in the basement. NC Archives reviewed everything in the basement. There are many items in the basement that we are required to keep indefinitely. I repeat, no Deeds were discarded. By the way, all books are backed up on microfilm and are stored at NC Archives starting with Book 1. If you have any questions, please feel free to visit the Register of Deeds office or give us a call. The basement is now much cleaner and more organized. Rather than spreading misinformation and making untrue statements, I am only a phone call away. All you have to do is call and I am happy to provide the information you need. The role of the Register of Deeds is to safeguard the records within and I take my role seriously and carry my duties out according to the law. Respectfully submitted. Truth Seeker is telling the truth. I know the woman it happened to and she doesn’t think that it is very Wacky. Also I know from a few of the women that work at the Register of Deeds that no deeds were destroyed. Hood doesn’t know what he is talking about. He should get his fact straight before he lies.

E-Recording is a technology that allows attorneys, realtors, and title companies around the country to file documents easily, securely, and most of all, quickly from the comfort of their own office to the Register of Deed’s Office—96 counties e-Record in North Carolina. In 2023, the Beaufort County Register of Deeds office recorded 6,122 real estate documents. 3,492 recordings were over-the-counter (hard copies) and 2,630 were eRecordings. The only difference between the two is the delivery method. They all go through the same process of indexing. 255 marriage licenses were issued. Over 285 births were recorded and approximately 548 deaths were recorded. It is imperative to offer convenient services to our customers. The issue is space in the Register of Deeds office. The commissioners did not approve additional space when requested by the previous Register. We will continue to work with what we have. Respectfully submitted, Carolyn Garris, Register of Deeds

I never say whacky stuff and I never say stuff like truth seeker did in this thread. I'm no fan of HR but calling him a peeper is not right. I never do stuff like that.

I use an alias on this site because MAGA is proven to be a violent group. I wont subject me or my family to that sort of sh^t for the privilege of talking smack on a web site. MAGA is small but growing threat. we either make room for all of us or we will fight.

America first
Party second
Fascist dictators - out with the trash
