Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingAgreed, Washingtonian.
The Sadler candidate has emerged for the council seat. He is Roland Wyman, a liberal city politician who is friendly with the Sadler machine. Wyman can absolutely NOT br trusted on taxes. He is the polar opposite of Nick Fritz. Taxpayers need someone who will follow Fritz's mandate from voters on taxes and spending. Putting a tax and spend politician like Wyman in that seat would be spitting in the face of taxpayers and voters.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingRegarding the City Budget. There is a Budget Public Hearing
beginning at 6:00 on May 11. Councilman Joe Davis wrote this to the citizens: HOW RESIDENTS CAN BE HEARD Davis is asking residents who support the tax reduction to attend the next Council budget meeting in person and to make their support known during public comment. “Heading to the ballot box should have been enough. It wasn’t. If you want this rate cut, the most direct way to get it is to be in the room when the vote happens. The opposition of tax decreases are always there — and they will be loud. I know most people don't have time to do this but yours is the voice this Council needs to hear.”

If you want to help Hardned Criminal, develop a program to keep them incarcerated but rehabilitate them. That would be money better spent than the revolving door policy we have now.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingThe one who ought to be removed from the city council is Tyre, who does not even really live in Washington. He should run in Greenville, where he really lives. Tyre and the whole Sadler bunch are what you get when you cross Tammany Hall with Idi Amin.

Commented on GOP voters in Indiana oust 7 state senate RINOs and replace with Trunp backed conservativesIndiana voters seem to "get it" like NC Republican voters did in Rockingham and Guilford counties when they ousted uber-RINO Phil Berger this year. With "Republicans" like those, who even needed Democrats?

Commented on Henry Hinton: "NCAE teachers union rally in Raleigh was like a communist / left wing rally".Calling the NCAE teachers union "communist" is going a bit far. Hinton went overboard there. However they are far left, and there is no doubt about that. An affinity for the world's top communist /socialist holiday is hardly the only example of that. What puzzles me is how the local GOP got saddled with two members of this far left organization as "Republican" nominees for school board.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingOn that Facebook poll asking should JDavis be removed from Council shows a Jeff Huss voting YES. There is a City Code Enforcement Officer in the Washington Planning Dept by the same name. Is it the same person? Are there other City employee's names on that list? Inquiring minds want to know.

No longer can we allow the Education Industry to indoctrinate, and under education our most precious resource. On the mean, they truly messed up the Millennial Generation. I know this from much sincere experience.

Commented on Henry Hinton: "NCAE teachers union rally in Raleigh was like a communist / left wing rally".A 45-year Cold War, and the end of the Soviet Union has not ended the argument for and against communism in the United States. While leftist groups continue to honor the communist holiday (May Day), the state of Florida has approved a new history of communism standards in their public schools. Back and forth we go.
The Florida standards emphasize how communist ideologies have historically suppressed individual freedoms, abused powers, and inflicted widespread suffering. The left-wing groups avoid direct dealings with both history and ideology. They focus on issues of pay, unionized collective bargaining, taxing "the rich," political redistricting, and non-enforcement of immigration law advocacy. They use an indirect approach that is ultimately very ideological. I personally do not fear an honest debate of the subject in all arenas, including our public schools, as long as the conversation uses high scholastic standards. Methods used in political arguments should not be relied on in institutions of learning. Things that are true and proven enlighten in a way sophistry cannot duplicate.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingHey Concerned Taxpayer:
JD said this on Facebook regarding those Facebook Keyboard warriors. He wrote: "This same coalition went after Nick Fritz for City Council relentlessly — personally. They and their supporters went after his wife (even entering her home while alone), his kids, his businesses, his employees, and his employees' families." This same hateful group also posted a poll asking members: "Should Tyre, Horton and Perreault remove Davis from the City Council so they can have a fresh start in governing the city? It’s only a matter of time for Davis…why have another delay in governing?"

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingSo the bureaucratic capal won the struggle for top dog in Washington Govt.
We the People ELECT representatives to lead our govt, then one Rep tells us he has learned that Democracy in Washington is a sham and then quits because he knows that the newly elected have all been neutered. Then another councilman tells me "we have no power." Well if thos we elect have no power, then we the Citizens have no power. We are told elections are how we control our government. But in Washington that has turned out to be a lie. So why do we have elections? Its a bureaucratic dictatorship, complete w the power to destroy those bothersome humans that criticize them. No wonder everyone on NOW use aliases, and then STILL most are afraid to speak up. Its a fact that dictatorship kill their "useful idiots" first. I know too much. These r words to the wise, for the useful fools. I say fired every single Dept head that has been here more than 2 years. Fire those long time Board of Adjustment members too

Commented on Dominican Republic has mass deportation of Haitian migrants, while Obama judges stop it hereWhen a Spanish speaking Caribbean country is actively deporting hundreds of thousands of Haitian illegal aliens, why are judicial bully boys stopping it in the US? Other Caribbean countries like the Bahamas are also deporting all the Haitian illegal aliens they can locate.

Commented on Henry Hinton: "NCAE teachers union rally in Raleigh was like a communist / left wing rally".Two of the members of this radical teachers union being on our school board is scary, but one wonders how many more of them are out there in classrooms teaching our children? One hopes they do not bring their ideology into the classroom.

Abortion is just one of the teetering legs of their three legged stool to destroy the societal structure of this Constitutional Republic.

Commented on Reminder: Scheduled City Council MeetingFacebook participation has the power to make or break a small town's congeniality. I think it is currently breaking it.
The only thing worse than "small town politics" in a small town, is small town politics in a big city... such as DC or Chicago 4 example. I think small town politics could be known as vicious gossip that people act on. Bureaucrats say, we have been here for decades, you politicians come and go frequently. (that causes rot in govt, which causes sloppiness)

This is an absolute outrage to taxpayers. Did some bureaucrat not vet them properly or did the applicants lie on their application? Either way, somebody ought to be prosecuted in each one of these cases. Also the money should be clawed back from any state where this happens.
