I think the question is, does GC live in the area he wants to represent?

Stan the martyr. How do you walk amongst us?

Nazi is short for "National SOCIALIST", and so is more fitting for other socialists like Biden and Little Bobbie. All socialists are authoritarians. Haven't even heard of "proud girls" before. Is that something else that Little Bobbie just made up?

Are we to understand that the Board refuses to even consider having a representative from Hilldale College present their social studies program to replace what was previously selected as Savvas with the Rainbow flag? I was told the Savvas program costs about 400 thousand dollars and the Hillsdale program is free. Until we elected the last three new board members the group was merrily going along with teaching CRT. They finally adopted a watered-down version of resistance. Correct me if I am wrong.

Grace Brown: "Commissioner Deatherage" never said or wrote "Censorship begins after one post." So for truth's sake, the veracity of your comment is entirely lacking.

This publication, Eastern NC NOW, is Beaufort County top journalistic entity, and holding that position with great pride, we allow all comments and decently written posts providing that the truth of any issue never becomes the first victim. If you wish to offer a retort to my true words, have at it.

I am certainly not a Leftist, so as publisher, I make honest decisions every day, and I know dishonestly often when it presents itself, and act as I see fit. Wanton dishonesty never furthers any salient point.

Witness the corrupt Leftist Executive, and much of its bureaucracy, the insipidly Corrupt Corporate Media, all of which will be the commanding history of these dishonest days.

Eastern NC NOW is an honest oasis to this hurricane of lies and liars, and will remain that way as long as I, and soon we, draw breath

Thank you for this thoughtful piece providing voters the opportunity to further consider your candidacy. I’ve never liked a martini. Regardless of whatever pretentious flavor is added, it’s just not great. But, what annoys me the most is to see people swirl it as the drink. Like a pot stirrer. Odd. It seems that with polarizing topic, you seem to at the center of it. Like the 2011 umbrella incident, the seniors were recently misled to believe their entire center would be repurposed into a museum rather than just the unutilized portion. Was this simply the spoon taking another turn in a potilcal pot? Again, I appreciate the enlightenment. Your perspective on historical preservative and charitable endeavors is clear. Voters now have to consider if a hyperbolist is any better than an elitist. I don’t expect a response back. As Commissioner Deatherage explained, censorship begins after one post. Such a shame. What is politics without debate? Maybe this can be discussed tonight at dinner?

In this press release from the Department of Interior ... you know, the guys that administer the national park system ... Idiot President Biden's name was mentioned 6 times out of just 491 words, which is remarkable because this hapless bundle of corruption -mind and body - does not strike me as an outdoors kind of guy ... I see the fool as more of a basement guy.

Perry was primary sponsor of the sports betting / horserace track bill that passed earlier, and was the senator primarily pushing this bill through the legislature. He is dirty beyound just the casinos. dailyhaymaker.com

Klaus Schwab's father was a Nazi industrialist. As the old saying goes, the apple does not fall far from the tree.

So, Little Bobbie only saw on TV an editted clip of part of what was said, yet claims "he was there"? What poppycock!

I disagree Big Bob: Ignorant politicians create ignorant bureaucrats, and both do significant damage, all the while patting themselves and each other on the back as to how important they are ... and it is not just the Democratic Socialists that raise my ire, it is, moreover, the RINO class of Republicans (Beaufort County has more than its share) that I have not, and will not tolerate.

My disdain for the RINO is truly well established since it is their patent dishonesty that I absolutely abhor, and have for decades.

So Big Bob, I cannot and will not take my intelligence that you acknowledge that I possess, and diminish it while remaining an honest politician; not by staying quiet when I see such dishonesty and associative ignorance in government. If it is my curse to your ilk that I fully recognize the damage these fools commit upon the rest of us ... the good citizens of these states united ... then I will bear that curse until those good people rally around what is real.

That will happen at some point.

it doesn't matter. Some would say they are all smart considering it takes some smarts to win an election. Are all politicians educated? No. Do some have personality disorders? Yes. Do some have character flaws? Yes.
Stan I consider you "smart", however if you truly believe everyone on the other side of the isle is some how inferior, subhuman, or incapable of understanding truth as you see it, then I would consider you to have a major character flaw. When it comes to people, never paint with a brush so broad you deminish your humanity. You're better than that.

The only thing close to the Nazis in Europe these days are the globalists who adhere to the WEF. They follow the classical fascist economic doctrine of the "corporate state" and follow the nazis in wanting to suppress free speech and gun rights. Klaus Schwab's "Great Reset" book is a 21st century "Mein Kampf" The three parties of the right in Bavaria all reject the globalist doctrine.

Sen. Perry's worst betrayal of the taxpayers was the Obamacare Medicaid expansion. A few years down the road, when the federal government's promise to cover most of the new cost expires, state taxpayers are going to be taken to the cleaners for this boondoggle. In the meantime, all that extra cost is going out of the taxpayers' other pocket in federal taxes. Taxpayers are being socked for a huge cost either way. And most of the new recipients of this Medicaid welfare have previously had private health plans funded by their employers. The big hospitals want that group shoved onto the taxpayers back because it is a steop toward their socialitic wet dream of single payer health care. Perry just helped shove us farther down that evil road. He needs to be G-O-N-E from politics.

His Green New Deal, is also going to be a nightmare for NC electric ratepayers as this green energy nonsense already is in other countries.

Big Bob: Go ahead and name some current smart politicians that are Democratic Socialists. Please do, I have an inquiring mind.

There are many smart democrats and republicans. Being born smart is but one factor regarding ones potential. I would argue trump is smart, but has several major character flaws that make him unfit for office.

Even though my referenced comment was not regarding smart v stupid, but was more about the corrupt v the good, I am now inclined to ask at this point, Big Bob:

Is Joe Biden smart?

Was Nancy Pelosi smart?

Is Charles Schumer smart?

We have all seen your comments on President Trump's intellect, who actually was a very effective president and is smart, so I do believe that you, once again Big Bob, stand corrected as I do believe that hypocrisy, at least for the other side from yours, certainly is never a noble gesture.

From his record, it is easy to see that Perry has no moral or philosophical compass. He is for sale to the highest bidder. That is not what we need in a public official. Time for a change in the '24 primary.

And, Buzz, I think that is CON (certificate of need) rather than COM. It is a insider scheme that helps keep medical bills high and the deep pockets in the medical industroy will fight like hell to keep. Those on the ir payroll like Perry, are what keep our medical bills high.
