You are badly mistaken on the actual facts, Bob. Election procedures vary widely in the United States because our Constitution gives control of elections to the states and not the national government. Within states, there are areas that are well run and honest and those that are not. At the height of Mayor Daley's corrupt Chicago political machine, elections in downstate Illinois rural counties were honest and aboveboard.
After the 2000 election, a national commission was set up, chaired by Democrat former President Jimmy Carter to make recommendations on election security and ballot integrity. One of the recommendations of Carter's commission was that mail-in ballots provided a lot more opportunity for fraud than casting ballots at the polls on election day. They suggested that to the extent that mail-in ballots were used, it should be minimized. So what did the Democrats push hard for in 2020, led by partisan Democrat lawyer Marc Elias? More mail-in ballots, the very thing Jimmy Carter said were most prone to fraud. Having election observers present is a key to honest elections. But what did the Democrats do in 2020? In key counties in multiple states they either kicked or tricked Republican elections observers out of the counting rooms, or in some cases seated them so far away that it was impossible for them to observe the count. That is simply not something that is done when one is running an honest and aboveboard election.

Bobbie reminds me of Biden when he said "we support truth over facts". You see, for the far left "Truth" is about their political narrative, not about what actual happened.
Almost all historic monuments to our Confederate ancestors were privately funded. The taxpayer money is being spent by the far left to try to destroy them. The Arlington Cemetery monument is no exception. The War Between the States was NOT a holocaust.

So no. You are correct. Elections in BC are run like elections everywhere. Sure some places have larger populations and yes people of color are allowed to vote in them, but the process is essentially the same. Trump lost. Stop lying.

Gas prices - No one else seems to have joined Speedway's big increase this time. In fact, one station reduced its price in response. The 76 convenience store on Bridge Street lowered its price by 3 cents from $3.42 to $3.39 after Speedway upped its price from $3.45 to $3.59. So that 76 station is now the cheapest in town and 20 cents a gallon lower than Speedway.

Actually, Bolshevik Bob, YOU are like a holocaust denier, denying real history because it does not fit in with your extremist ideology. The holoscaust, historically and factually, did happen. Those who deny it for extremist political reasons are not to be trusted. Similarly, factually and historically there WERE free blacks in the South in the antebellum South and a significant number of them owned slaves themselves. To deny that because of your anti-white racist beliefs, you are similarly not to be trusted.
History is history. Facts are facts. They should not be denied because they are inconvenient to a political narrative or agenda. Slavery was wrong, as General Lee wrote, that it was "an institution of moral and political evil." But that does not mean that all Southern blacks at the time were slaves. They weren't. And it does not mean that blacks were not slave owners. Some of them were.

The Democrat scheme to manipulate the 2020 presidential election was based on urban counties in swing states. Beaufort County was NOT a target county due to not being a big urban county. Also, our local election staff, I am confidant, is above such corruption.
North Carolina did have some of its election integrity measures downgraded due to connivance between Democrat election lawyer Marc Elias and the Democrat controlled State Board of Elections, but some of that was reversed, and the Zuckerburg - Soros election mafia did not seem to run their ballot harvesting scheme here.

In reality, which is all I profess to know, in America's rich history some Black people once did own Black people, and if one considers indentured servitude a form of slavery, a few Black people owned White people.

Whether the policy is being advocated by an anonymous internet troll or by a "woke" politician (of either party), removing a reconciliation memorial from a cemetery is a horrible idea. Trampling on an act of reconciliation is actually promoting division. We have to ask ourselves, what are the motives of those promoting division?
Also, shutting down discussion of history (or anything else) is a dangerous thing. Totalitarian tyrants obliterate history and impose their own narrative. Free people engage in free debate and let logic dictate. The true study of history is not a hammer smashing a stone. It is more like reading an interesting mosaic of human stories. Tearing down a culture in order to impose an authoritarian dream of utopia has been done before. It is a recipe for disaster.

So, in your little mind articles documenting free blacks in the south owning slaves are "horsesh*t" because they destroy your far left ideological posturing, Bobbie? No, they show your narrative is horsesh*t. Heck, in one of those articles, it even showed that in the old South's largest city, New Orleans, 28% of free blacks owned slaves themselves. That doesn't jibe with your line of anti-white racist hooey, now does it Bobbie?

According to the information dug out by the New York Post, those meetings with top members of Special Prosecutor Jack Smith's staff at the White HOuse were with the White House Counsel's office, and that does carry a strong stench of abuse of power for election interference.

The usual suspect in gas price gouging, Speedway, has jacked their price up again this afternoon to $3.59, about 15 cents increase from where they were. No one else seems to have followed yet, so it is a good time to fill up. Murphy's Express is at $3.43, and the 76 Station on Bridge Street at $3.42. Duck Thru is at $3.44, but if you have their discount card, that makes it $3.39, as of right now the best price in town, and 20 cents a gallon less than Speedway.

Commented on Will Elon Musk Fight Disney On Gina Carano’s Behalf?Translated, that means Bolshevik Bob wants to punish free speech if it goes against his sides agenda. That is what totalitarians like the Communists and Nazis do. As George Orwell said, "Freedom of speech is your right to say what I don't want to hear". Without freedom of speech, democracy is dead, just as the globalists want.
