If they try to slam this ridiculous UN climate tax on American shipping, we ought to declare all employees of that UN agency responsible to be Persona Non Grata in our country and bar their entry. We should close all of their offices in the United States and seize their assets that are in this country to reimburse our shipping for this disgusting extortion. We should give NOT ONE RED CENT to the corrupt lefties at the UN. If we are providing any security for the UN building, it should be withdrawn.

Commented on Politics and Common Sense?To the Beaufort County Public, as Hood mentioned, I did miss that specific meeting "due to illness;" however, I am now strong again; not as much in body, as I am in spirit.
With total hip replacement surgery, the body must follow as it will, and as it can. One thing is definitely for sure going forward, I will no longer be standing at county commissioner meetings because I cannot bear to sit. That was just one of my maladies fixed by this very necessary and major reconstructive surgery. Even though my body is continually on the mend; at this point, I already feel 5 years younger in body, and a good decade younger in spirit. I can walk, I can stand, and I can sit, and, moreover, I can better think.

Nice to dream that the majority of the county commissioners would actually vote to reduce taxes, but I don't see that happening in my life time unless the waste can be controlled. ONe of the huge costs to Americans of these parasite illegal aliens being in our country is the cost of them mooching our health care. Sometimes like this it is paid for by taxpayers but they also just show up at emergency rooms and demand free care, the cost of which gets added to the bills of paying patients and our health insurance companies, driving up our health insurance premiums. These deadbeats need to be sent home.
Florida passed a law that hospitals had to determine the immigration status and record it for any patients who showed up at the ER without insurance. That caused a lot of illegal aliens to quit going. North Carolina needs to do the same. Yes, liberal state officials who approve federal Medicaid funds for illegal aliens are conspiring to break federal law. They should be arrested, prosecuted, and jailed for Medicaid fraud.
