Clearly a political ambush. It is helpful that someone has gotten the missing pieces of the story and published them. How does our local TV media feel about being manipulated this way? Hats off to our District Attorney for standing for justice instead of joining the political pile-on. This never passed the smell test. Now it reeks even more of rancid cheese.

Now I know the whole story.
I have to wonder: Will the School administration refute any points of this story, as this is, obviously, the first hand account of School Board Member Davis?

Commented on Google admits political censorship, apologizesGoogle also admitted that it was the Biden regime that demanded they do this particular censorship, but they are a left wing company and bad for that sort of thing anyway.
Never Google!

Roy Cooper and Josh Stein have both supported this boys in the girls bathroom nonsense here in North Carolina. It is a trademark of today's woke Democrats.

Commented on Beaufort County Emergency RoomIf you think the wait time here is bad, try the hospital in Greenville. I have known people to wait over 24 hours there. You have to look at how many counties our hospital in Beaufort County is serving. For the space they have they do a good job. Sadly when people are admitted and there are no rooms upstairs they have to hold them in the ED until a room becomes available.
IMO our ED does a good job with the space they have to work with. Some of the urgent care places are only open M-F, if you need urgent care on the weekends check and see if ECU Internal Medicine still has walk in on Sat and Sun, it used to be from 8am-2pm.

Washingtonian: I wish I could accuse you for being completely wrong, but I fear you may be completely right.
I do not remember this issue being explained to all of the county commissioners, unless it happened when my left leg and hip was causing me tremendous pain. That happened many times over the last number of months.

If you hand over ALL this information about yourself, you are naive.
Beaufort County is implementing a new emergency alert system. All residents are encouraged to sign up to receive alerts via phone and email: Enter your phone number(s) and email address(es). Provide an address to receive alerts for a specific location. That could be your home address, your workplace, your child's school, a family member's house or another area.

Commented on Beaufort County Emergency RoomIllegal alien freeloaders use emergency rooms to mooch health care. One way to solve this is to ask ICE to station someone there, or at least do what Florida did and require hospitals to determine immigration status of all patients. That cut down ER use by illegal aliens by a lot.

Commented on Kings and QueensThis whole Stacey Davis affair is unfolding as a ripe onion, peeled away layer by layer, offering political flavor for some, and none for others.
This is all I know about it. There is one thing, however, that I am very aware of, and that is Republican leaders DO NOT have the proxy of real Republicans to attack other real Republicans, especially at, and for the pleasure of RINOs (just another name for a misclassified Democrat), and these RINOs' associative bureaucrats, who work together as a corrupt cabal. This must end here in Beaufort County GOP politics, and it must end NOW. This issue of RINO Whispering is serious for we Real Republicans, who absolutely act as Real Republicans, and, going forward, weI will employ whatever political gravitas weI possess to demand a reversal of this wayward face of the current Beaufort County GOP.

NC Democrats just showed how weak they are on crime with their State Senate walkout over a crime bill yesterday. The majority of Democrat state senators walked out in protest of the tough-on-crime bill while those who remained all voted against it. The bill ended cashless bail in NC, ended the "racial justice" commission responsible for letting the Charlotte Light Rail murderer stay on the streets, and provided alternative methods of capital punishment if lethal injections become unavailabler.

Why is it that these good, wise Republicans in congress, like Jim Jordan, are so smart, and the Ignorant Left are so ... well, ignorant, or: Is it that their non patriotic political leanings makes them all seem so terribly out of place with real American patriots?

The "transgender" mental illness is a threat to the safety of Americans. Other mentally ill people are not allowed to have guns and they should not have them either. Indeed, they should be monitored to see if they need to be institutionalized.

Commented on Statement from Stacey DavisBefuddled: I trust few bureaucrats in Beaufort County right now, and I have been in local government for nearly 25 years, as the highest elected official in Beaufort County dealing with local policy, and I have no trust in most local bureaucrats. so how in the world does Joe and Sally Citizen feel about their local governments?

Commented on Statement from Stacey DavisWhat is a Small City?
Its an incorporated place where people choose to live under an agreed set of rules for the equal good. What happens when the TOP Managment decides that "The People" are "The Problem?" Well it becomes a negative attitude over the entire network of employees including the police dept. "The Staff" think the People are the problem. They need to be controlled. The People that make our work difficult must be silenced, using petty powers over them. The People learn not to trust them. Thus we can no longer work together. Then The People learn not to trust anyone because the petty govt power-brokers have unidentified supporters locally, who will report back. The whole sickness spreads. Friends will not protect friends for fear of becoming a target themselves. Its the start of a Cabal.

The horrific death of this young Ukrainian woman is a moral stain upon the Leftist politics of the City of Charlotte and the County of Mecklenburg.
The governments of Charlotte City and Mecklenburg County were both self-declared a sanctuary of safety to Invaders From Across the Southern Border here illegally, but NOT for Ukrainian Women here legally.

Commented on Statement from Stacey DavisCT: The vast majority of local politicians suffer from the condition of NO original thought.
I discerned this condition accurately decades ago, which keeps them pliable to the overpaid and underwhelming Bureaucrat Class. CT: You forgot to include the appointed attorneys, also bureaucrats. Outside of Billy Mayo some years ago, I am at a loss to recollect an attorney for any major government that was worth their fee, and who did not control the small minds of most board members.

Commented on Statement from Stacey DavisCV: Not only was that little logo never trademarked, the public paid for it, and Stacey Davis is a member of that public. She like me, and all other taxpayers own a goodly piece of that poor logo.
One more thing here: Real Republicans live by a whole different set of rules and standards than Democratic Socialists and RINOs, whereby the former is harmed and the latter is helped ... And who pays for this obvious beneficial nod to the Leftists by the overpaid Bureaucrat Class in setting the status quo in Beaufort County government(?) ... The taxpayers always pay and pay for Leftist, and RINO corruption!
