The fact that too often, the only goods on offer in stores are from China is not a good thing but one that does not have the strategic importance of handing them control of our energy, as Bolshevik Bob wants with wind and solar. The importance of not letting China control critical segments of our economy like energy and medicine is light years more important than whether we can find a hammer or beach chair made in the US or at least somewhere other than China. The fact that Bolshevik Bob tries to equate the two is a good indicator that he / she is a Chinese troll.

So its is OK for you to shop in China but not others? You getting a special deal? Are you a Chicom? I bet that's it. You're a spy working undercover for the Chinese. Its the only possible conclusion.

It is not about money going to China from Walmart. It is about being dependent on a major enemy for our energy. Wind and solar makes us far more dependent on your friends the ChiComs for our energy than oil ever did on the Arabs, and China is much more a geopolitical adversary.

As to the SW, the El Nino / La Nina cycle goes back and forth every few years, and this year happens to be a strong El Nino year, and that happens in that part of the world in a strong El Nino year. Strong El Nino years have happened from time to time as long as people have lived in that area.

That's not how it works BD, and probably explains why some fall for every crackpot theory posted on the internet.
BYW: No problem with conservatives, white supremist and the Christian Taliban, them I got problems with.
And that does not make me a Marxist. Again you form conclusions that are not valid.

CV, you shop at Walmart and send your money tp China most everyday. Willing to bet your house is filled with stuff made in China. Give it a rest or stop sending them your money.

"To come to a conclusion one must look at the positive and negatives of each process" Just looking at pluses and minuses will vary depending on whether one is an American conservative or an American Marxists. It is right vs wrong that SHOULD to be reasoned PRIOR to conclusion.

Nobody is going to "cook". The Earth has been through these centrueis long warm periods repreatedly. which alternate with cooling periods. The last one, the Medieival Warm Period was warmer than today and a period of prosperiy. Your Climate Scientology pagan religious cult is just wrong, and part of the globalist totalitarian movement.

China is helping fund the globalists' push for wind and solar because they are making money hand over fist both from selling the equipment to us and from making our industry less efficient and competive with theirs. But then you seem to be a cheerleader for everything China wants to do, Little Bobbie. You are one of their trolls. Are you based out of Beijing or some other city?

So you think that because China is doing it, we should all do it? China will cook just like the rest of us. Better hope they figure it out.

As usual, Bolshevik Bob likes what Red China is selling, namely wind and solar energy equipment. Curiously, China uses mostly coal to power their own energy, building scores of new coal power plants, while they want to pawn expensive and unrealiable wind and solar off on western countries. Wonder why?
Commented: Thursday, August 10th, 2023 @ 5:41 pm By: Conservative Voter
No, I mean you took a set of somewhat factual, or sometimes complexly factual statements and came to an untrue conclusion.
Fact: All energy production on earth causes pollution.
Are some forms of energy production better than others? It depends. To come to a conclusion one must look at the positives and negatives of each process.
Anyone not doing that is selling something. I'm not buying. And neither should you.

When our resident far left pro-China internet troll Bolshevik Bob claims something is not true, it just means it is inconvenient for his far left narrative. That statement, in fact, means that not only is it true, but it is important. Here, I do not know if his swipe is aimed at the original article or the responses, but it does not matter, as all of them are spot on.

None of this is true.

Solar and wind power also threaten the consumers' pocketbooks. Everywhere solar and wind have been implemented in a big way has seen huge electric rate increases for consumers. Germany's residential electric rates have zoomed to three times those of North Carolina since Merkel started her "energy trasnistion" to wind and solar. Even compared to its neighbors, German electric rates are twice as high as neighboring nuclear powered France and almost three times as high as coal-fired Poland. That is what these despicable RINOs Berger and Moore are bringing to North Carolina, working hand in glove for the same policies as Biden.

Browny, you have hit the nail on the head. Red China dominates the supply chain for both raw materials and finished equipment for the wind and solar boondoggles. Going to wind and solar is making us dependent on China, a dangerous enemy, for our energy.

It is factually known that that the big winner considering the onslaught of wind and solar is the CCP. HB2 got repealed for the wrong reason. How about repealing HB 951 for the RIGHT reason.
