The average taxpayer does not understand what you just put in plain English. Well done sir. Now get on Facebook and shut down the misinformation coming from all directions on how this works, lol. The City increased taxes without providing more services. It is about like when they increased the rate .02 to save for the police station. They were supposed to give it back once it was built. Did they do that? NO! So that's an extra .02 that was diverted to fund their other pet projects and misuse of tax dollars.

(commented on July 3rd, 2024 @ 9:26 am)It would do you some good to look at the budget before assuming. The $1,134,319 increase from FY23 to FY24 was without SROS. The funding for SROs was already in the budget for the county. It just simply moves the expense from the schools to the Sheriff's office. I agree. The SROs was a big win for taxpayers. If you are fine with the irresponsible spending coming from their office, vote accordingly. Good stewards don't buy their desk staff $500 suits on the taxpayer dime. They don't throw $500 retirement parties for their dogs with the tax payers money. They don't stay in $350+ a night hotels when traveling on the tax payers dime. All of this is public information. Maybe you should look into it yourself before taking everything at face value.

He may have sold them to the Housing Authority, but to claim that he bought them after making a motion is simply not true. Those lots we purchased in 2012, DB 1778, P113.

(commented on October 28th, 2023 @ 8:22 pm)My son is severely disabled and no one wants to help him since we came to NC. In NY he received Medicaid based on his disability not income. Unfortunately we can’t afford to live in NY because we are retired and living on a limited income. I currently have 1100.00 in medical bills I cannot pay.
My son was adopted in NY and we received an adoption subsidy through NYC instead of Social Security disability. He was shaken at 2 1/2 months old by his foster mother. Because of this we were told we were not eligible for Medicaid even through the pickle act. Please help us help our son he cannot receive any services without it

We need to know that the people controlling our tax dollars are drug free and pay taxes on time.

This by itself explains why he should not be in government. I would like to see his community school plan and the cost? Your dereliction of duty has failed the people in this county. You are an embarrassment to the people in this county across the state. Rep Kidwell lets his objections be known and they all come to the table for negotiations. Kidwell is a champion of the people. Richardson just yells randomly to make the taxpayers think he is a champion for them. He is not. He always wants to know if the meeting is being live-streamed before he speaks. He left the budget meeting after making an absurd comment. Didn’t stay for the process because he had his conservative PAC meeting. As he said, “politics is a hobby” for him. We the people are not here for his entertainment.

Ask them if they have read and understand all the zoning categories, and rules regarding them. Ask them if they know why such rules exist. Ask what happens when such rules arent EQUALLY enforced? Ask if they know of cases where the city Govt and its staff, has NOT equally enforced these zoning rules? Because such cases do exist.

As the honorable Judge pointed out, Mr Trump is under court supervision, with several felonies, and he is not entitled to say and do what he wants. No other court would allow it, and hers is not going to either. He is free to slam Biden, he can say what he wants about the Government, he can run his election and talk up a storm. If I were him I’d stop defaming her character and get in with the job he was hired for. Unless he is attempting to crash and burn his career and make his reputation even more frivolous.
Another point I’d like to make is this, according to Mr Richardsons own words, he knew 10 years ago that they were running out of space at the register of deeds office. So Mr Richardson, when were you slacking off… then when you could have obtained the books when it was brought to the Commissioners attention? Or now when you are wasting taxpayer $$ obsessing over this woman who is attempting to do her job? Either way you need to GET BACK TO WORK or I will work to make sure that this job is no longer yours.

Funds out of their own pockets to trap the vet the feral cats and release them back in the community. It’s been proven doing this actually helps control the population vs trapping and killing them. They are also a source for rodent control. One of the rescues that I know doing this is No Critter Left Behind.
