Jewel M. Triplett | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Jewel Marie Greer Triplett, age 80, a resident of Blounts Creek, died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice.

    Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, conducted by Gene Andrews. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.

    Mrs. Triplett was born in Watauga County, N.C. on August 5, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Sherman Greer and Vertie Triplett Greer. Mrs. Triplett was a homemaker. She was a member of Ephesus Free Will Baptist Church.

    Mrs. Triplett loved gardening, cross stitch, cooking for her family for the holidays, gospel music, watching TV ministers and her pets. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her son in law.

    Mrs. Triplett was married to Fred J. Triplett, who preceded her in death.

    She is survived by her daughter, Ada Marie Wunder and husband, Paul of Bel Air, MD; grandson, Gregory Paul Wunder and wife, Melissa of Forest Hill, MD; granddaughter, Amy Marie Wunder Keene and husband, Brendon of Bel Air, MD; great grandson, Jonathan Micaiah Wunder of Forest Hill, MD; brother, Robert Greer of Boone, N.C. and sister, Wanda Hill and husband, Norman of Tifton, GA.

    In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Triplett was preceded in death by a son, Ike J. Triplett; sister, Arlene Greene and brother, Charles Greer.

    The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service at Paul Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.
