Vidant Medical Center to hold “Festival of Hope” | Eastern North Carolina Now

On Friday, November 14, Vidant Medical Center will hold its sixth annual “Festival of Hope.” The event will take place at Rock Springs Center from 6:30-11:30 p.m. to raise funds for cancer support and survivorship programs offered at Vidant Medical Center.

    On Friday, November 14, Vidant Medical Center will hold its sixth annual "Festival of Hope." The event will take place at Rock Springs Center from 6:30-11:30 p.m. to raise funds for cancer support and survivorship programs offered at Vidant Medical Center.

    "There are more than 12 million cancer survivors in the U.S., and survivorship programs are on the top of our list of much needed support services," said Phyllis DeAntonio, administrator for cancer care at Vidant Medical Center. "Please join us this year and support a needed cause."

    This year's presenting sponsor is Eastern Radiologist's Breast Imaging Center. The elegant event will feature cocktails, jazz music by Carroll Daschiell, a full gourmet dinner and dancing to the music of Spare Change.

    Raffle ticket sales, drawings, and an auction will take place throughout the evening. Bailey's Fine Jewelry is donating the grand prize, a pair of David Yurman black onyx 8mm cerise diamond edge albion stud earrings.
