    Mrs. Lorrie Ann Rakowski Davenport, age 43, a resident of 110 Sunshine Lane, Chocowinity, NC died Sunday December 21, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC.

    A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday December 24, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Pastor Kenneth Pritchard. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steven Davenport, Billy Davenport, Jr., Travis Davenport, Keith Rakowski, Jr., Glenn Finch, Jr. and Jacob Robert.

    The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday December 23, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.

    Lorrie was born in Beaufort County on October 29, 1971 daughter of the late Stephen Vincent Rakowski and the late Opal Lorraine Moore Rakowski. She was a graduate of Chocowinity High School and married Tony Eugene Davenport, Sr. who survives. Lorrie was a school bus driver for the Beaufort County School System and transported children attending Chocowinity Primary School and Chocowinity High School. She was a former Emergency Medical Technician and volunteered with Chocowinity EMS. Lorrie attended Washington Assembly of God.

    Surviving along with her husband Tony of the home are two daughters: Lydia Naomi Keech of Washington and Lorra Annissa Keech of Chocowinity; a step-daughter: Pamela Nicole Davenport of Washington; a step-son: Tony E. Davenport, Jr. of Washington; a brother: Keith Rakowski and his wife Amanda of Jacksonville, FL; a sister: Lisa Rakowski Nanney and her husband Jamie of Farmville and three grandchildren: Autumn Leigh Wiggins, Savanah Sky Robert and Aubrey Ann Robert. Lorrie was predeceased by a brother: Stephen E. Rakowski.
