Keith Allen Williams | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. Keith Allen Williams, age 59, a resident of 107 Maple Lane, Washington, NC passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, NC.

    Mr. Williams was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 10, 1955, son of the late Carroll W. Williams and Bonnie Jean Daughters Williams. He attended Fork Union Military Academy in 1973 and Ohio State University in 1974. He served in the United States Air Force for 35 years. On September 21, 2001 he married the former Mary Beth Morris, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Kaitlyn M. Williams of Greenville, NC and son Stuart H. Sorrell (Cara) of Chocowinity, NC.; sisters Pamela S. Prickett of Middlebrook, VA and Kelly B. Gartner (Peter) of Cary, NC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Grant A. Williams and brother-in-law, Les Prickett.

    A celebration of his life with military honors will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service, Washington, NC. The service will be officiated by Chaplain, Jamin Bailey. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Jeremy Forbus, John Ross, Fred Berger, Brian Snyder, Dave Parker, Maureen Bennett, John Payne, and Kim Browne will serve as color guard Pallbearers.

    The family will receive friends Friday, February 20, 2015 from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Service and other times at the home.
