Reta Carol Wallace Keech | Eastern NC Now

    Reta Carol Wallace Keech, 78, of Pinetown, NC, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her daughter's home, surrounded by her family.

    Mrs. Keech was the daughter of the late Penelope Rozena Boyd and Walton Roper Wallace and she was previously married to Mack Horace Keech. She was a member of West Belhaven Church of Christ; however she attended Everett's Church of Christ. She also served our country as a member of the United States Navy.

    Survivors include her two daughters: Terry Lynn Keech Ussery and her husband Adam of Wilson, NC and Tammy Sue Keech Smith and her husband Terry of Washington, NC; her son Walton Albert Keech and his wife Sherry of Pinetown, NC; her brother Walton Andrew Wallace, Sr. and his fiancé Terry of Washington, NC; her grandchildren Adam Walter Ussery, Jr. and his wife Sandy, Jason Albert Keech and his wife April, Stephen Derick Ussery, and Cameron Blake Keech; her great-granddaughter Kendall Faith Ussery and several nieces and nephews.

    A Celebration of Mrs. Keech's life will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Belhaven Community Cemetery with Kent Gurganus officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Albert and Sherry Keech, 6997 Free Union Church Road in Pinetown. Jimmy D. Sawyer, funeral director licensee, is serving the Keech family.
