BREAKING: Supreme Court Sides With North Carolina, Halts Overreaching EPA Power Rules That Will Raise Power Bills | Eastern North Carolina Now

Press Release:

Raleigh, N.C.     After the Supreme Court sided with North Carolina and 26 other states, halting the implementation of the EPA's overreaching power plant rules, NCGOP Executive Director Dallas Woodhouse released the following statement:

"The Supreme Court's decision is a huge victory for North Carolina and states against overreaching federal regulations, but Attorney General Roy Cooper was nowhere to be found. Instead of doing his job and suing to block harmful DC regulations, he sided with Washington, bureaucrats and special interests over protecting North Carolina families from higher electricity bills."
