Catherine M. Bradford | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Catherine Hopkins McCormick Bradford, age 85, a resident of Washington, died Sunday March 6, 2016 at her home.

    Mrs. Bradford was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 15, 1930 to the late John and Elizabeth Rutherford McCormick. On August 3, 1975 she married Benton Bradford who preceded her in death on August 23, 1991. She was a graduate of Dobbins High School in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, retired in 1981 after 18 years of service with Penn Elastic Company and was a member of Wares United Methodist Church.

    Survivors include four daughters, Gail Vickers of Washington, Karen Silcox and husband Donnie of North Wales, Pennsylvania, Kimberly Overton and husband Bradley of Washington, Colleen Ireland and husband Jeffery of Washington, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, James Edward Kelly and one granddaughter.
