Born: September 20, 1941, Died: August 1, 2016

Mr. Floyd "Lucky" Kittle, Sr. passed away in his home on Monday, August 1, 2016 in Ayden, NC.

A celebration of Lucky's life includes a viewing on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington and a funeral mass at Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Washington Friday, August 5, 2016 at 10:00 am.

He was born September 20, 1941 in Hamilton, OH. He actively served and was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps. A certified welder and wood craftsman, his favorite pastime was building things in his shop - especially making things for others. He volunteered actively with baseball and softball leagues in the Winston Salem area. His greatest pleasure was spending time with family and friends, especially children, and Lucky never met a stranger.

Lucky is survived by his loving wife and partner of 23 years Debi Smith Hilton-Kittle. He is survived by three children, Floyd "Bunky" Kittle, Jr., Katie Kittle and Peggy Kittle; three stepchildren Shelley Hilton-Cullum (Kevin) of Davenport, IA, Gregory Hilton (Katherine) of Columbia, SC and Bradley Hilton of Atlanta, GA; five beloved grandchildren; many who considered him their Grandpa or Uncle Lucky; and two dog companions, Sequoia and Max. He is predeceased by his children David Wayne Kittle, David Allen Hargett and Marcus Hargett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina, online at hsecarolina.org or via mail 3520 Tupper Drive; Greenville, NC 27834.
