   Recommended Option Available for Review

   Beaufort County Schools has made the recommended option for the 2012-2013 school calendar available to the public and has requested feedback from staff and the community.

   This information may be found on their website, www.beaufort.12.nc.us. Along with recommended option, the system has broken down the school calendar creation process to help the community better understand constraints legislation places on the school year.

   Email addresses are provided for both staff and the community to send their feedback on the recommendation. The public is also encouraged to contact local representatives serving in Raleigh regarding the need for a review in the current limitations in the opening day of school and last day of classes.

   Anyone without internet access may request a copy of the information from their child’s school or Beaufort County Central Services by calling 946-6593.
