    Mrs. Lorraine Fenlon Olson, age 82, a resident of Washington, NC passed away Sunday March 4, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

    A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday March 8, 2018 at Mother of Mercy Catholic Church and will be officiated by Father Brendon Buckler. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.

    Lorraine will be deeply missed by family and friends who have always admired her grace, dignity, unfailing love for her family and deep devotion to her husband Dan. Whatever life threw at her, she maintained her delightful sense of humor and joy of living.

    Lorraine was born in Manitowoc, WI where she met her loving husband. She is a graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc and an active member of Mother of Mercy Catholic Church.

    Survivors include her husband, Daniel Brian Olson of the home, a daughter, Kristin Nordeen Olson of Greenville, four sisters, Ruth Ann Madalena and husband Robert, Arlene Engel, Louise Lutz and husband Thomas, Sharon Marx and husband Steve, and several nieces and nephews.

    She is preceded in death by her son U.S. Air Force Captain Patrick Brian Olson, a daughter Katrina Marie Olson, and her parents Raymond and Mildred Mrozinski Fenlon.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
