Mrs. Charlotte Mabel Boyd Myers, age 82, dearly loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother left this life to join her beloved husband, Ronald and beloved grandson, Christopher Heath, to live in glory with Jesus on Sunday May 13, 2012.

   Mrs. Charlotte Mabel Boyd Myers, age 82, dearly loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother left this life to join her beloved husband, Ronald and beloved grandson, Christopher Heath, to live in glory with Jesus on Sunday May 13, 2012.

   Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday May 16, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Washington and will be conducted by Dr. Jimmy Moore. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The grandsons of Mrs. Myers will serve as pallbearers; Austin Myers of Greenville, NC, Todd Myers of Washington, Riley Myers of Birmingham, AL, Thomas Myers of Baltimore, MD, Marshall Singleton of Washington and one great nephew, Ryan Godley of Washington.

   Mrs. Myers was born in Beaufort County in the Acre Station Community on January 5, 1930. She was the daughter of John Thomas and Martha Frances Boyd Boyd.On July 31, 1948 she married Ronald Harris Myers who preceded her in death on March 23, 1990. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Washington.

   Survivors include her children, William “Bill” Myers and wife Gwen of Washington, John Myers and wife Kay of New Bern, Carolyn Heath and husband Worth of Kinston and Teresa Singleton and husband Wayne of Washington; five grandsons who are pallbearers and four great grandchildren; Christian Heath and Isabella Heath of Kinston, Cecilia Myers of Greenville and Tate Myers of Washington. Other survivors are her dearly loved sister, friend and caregiver, Joyce Godley of Washington, her brothers, Roy Boyd of Greenville, Clinton Boyd of Washington and Wade Boyd of Pinetown.

   The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm Tuesday May 15, 2012 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Widows Mite Campaign, 113 N. Harvey St., Washington, NC 27889.
