ENCNow
Publisher's note: This primary runoff begins and unless you have been living under a rock, you must know the significance in these runoff elections, especially in eastern North Carolina.

While all runoff elections are important to all, especially for those who sincerely support one candidate or another, there are two runoff elections that are particularly important Downeast, chief among all is the runoff primary for the nomination for the NC House, District 6 seat between Mattie Lawson and Arthur Williams, which has been well chronicled here in BCN. The other runoff race off of importance is the Republican nomination of insurance commissioner.

Consistent candidate for this position is Mike Causey, who is in a primary runoff against Richard Morgan. Richard Morgan is matter of concern many Republicans because: He is well known for having certain loyalty issues, and has also claimed that he would reward homeowners in the heavier populated Piedmont by balancing the lowering of these rates on the backs of property owners from the lesser populated east.

Which way are you going to vote?
