Publisher's Note: Bill Tarpenning is writing here that NC House Candidate Arthur Williams is disappointed that the United States Supreme Court did not declare ObamaCare unconstitutional.

We at BCN do appreciate all well presented submissions from our readership, and we do believe that this submission, although brief, certainly meets our standards, and we hope it will enlighten our many readers.

We also accept direct commentary from the candidate, and we would be honored to publish such from Candidate Arthur Williams, should he ever elect to provide a submission.

For Immediate Release:

Washington, NC     Arthur Williams today strongly criticized the US Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act, AKA Obama Care. Although this decision was made at the federal level, Williams’ concern is the unfunded mandates that will be placed on the states to finance parts of t his legislation. Williams’ had this to say today, “I was deeply disappointed in the US Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act. This legislation is clearly unconstitutional and one of the biggest attacks on our free market system this country has ever witnessed. I realize the implications this legislation will have to our state budget. When I get to Raleigh I vow to work with our leadership to ensure that North Carolinians are not further burdened with more taxes and regulations. The citizens of our country and state have grown tired of the constant attack on our freedoms and liberties. This further illustrates why I want to go to Raleigh to fight for our citizens against more taxes and regulations that will only weaken our economy and place unnecessary burdens upon future generations.”

I know.

I was hoping someone else would state the obvious besides myself.

Some politicians create this political environment, which is caustic to the liberty of our republic, and then, after creating this ominous storm with thunderous effects, they run around like blithering idiots, and cry out, "Why is it raining?"

How interesting! Considering that Arthur Williams supported Obama for president in 2008, and supported Obamacare when it went through Congress in 2009, his claim to be against it now is purely opportunistic. He is the political chameleon. See arthurwilliamsfornch ouse dot com.
