Sen. Rand Paul suspended from YouTube for posting correct medical info | Eastern North Carolina Now

In its continuing assault on free speech, YouTube, owned by leftwing Google, has suspended Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) for posting correct medical information that cloth masks do very little to protect against coronavirus and that only the N95 masks provide some degree of protection.  He is only one of the recent suspensions of conservatives by Big Tech as the oligarchs of Big Tech try to set themselves up as a kind of Orwellian "Minstry of Truth" and impose censorship on viewpoints they do not like.

Recently a prominent British scientist who is on the UK government's SAGE committee giving expert advice to the government on the coronavirus labeled masks as little more than "comfort blankets" which gave little actual virus protection.  He pointed out that airborne Covid is mostly spread by tiny aerosol particles and that the openings between fibers in cloth masks are 3,000 times larger than those particles.  Apparently this British scientist is allowed to say such things, but Senator Rand Paul, himself a medical doctor, is not.

Glenn Greenwald, a liberal journalist who still stands up for free speech, has also blasted YouTube for its totalitarian action.  He pointed to a doctor on a CNN panel who said the same thing as Senator Paul but was not censored and posted a clip from CNN to back that up.

Conservatives and all who believe in free speech should avoid totalitarian Big Tech - Google, Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia, etc. They are ALL aggressively opposed to free speech and want only their own biased opinions heard. For searches, DuckDuckGo or even Bing will give you more honest results and you can avoid Google. For social media, free speech sites Parler, Gab, and MeWe are the way to go. If you are posting video content, Rumble and BitChute are free speech alternatives to far left YouTube.
