Julie Wallace | Eastern NC Now

    Julie Marie Wallace, age 47, a resident of Pinetown, NC died Monday, September 13, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

    Julie was born January 5, 1974 in Beaufort County to the late Elgin Gray Wallace, and Jeanette W. Wallace who survives.

    She loved her brother Mark. Julie adored her nephew, Cade, and her niece, Aubrey and their mother Mandy. She would always remind Cade and Aubrey to use both arms when she gave them hugs. Julie loved her sister Karen so much and considered her to be her very best friend in her life! Julie loved her church family. She loved when people would speak to her and knew who most were by their voices.

    Julie was a kind, loving, and joyful soul who overcame many challenges in her life with determination and grace. Her faith was always strong in the Lord, as well as, her hope of being with HIM in her new home for Eternity. She made beautiful latch-hook rugs using a Braille system to pick the right colors. Julie always enjoyed going to Sam's Club and many other stores with her parents each month. She also loved, enjoyed, and took very good care of her cats! (Shadow and Smokey).

    Julie loved to listen to songs on country gospel radio stations on her many shopping trips with her mother.

    She was survived by her mother: Jeanette W. Wallace, a brother: Mark Allen Wallace (Mandy) of Bath, NC; a sister Karen Lee Wallace (Kirk) of Pinetown, NC; a nephew: Cade Allen Wallace; a niece: Aubrey Rae Wallace. She loved all her aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well. Julie would always remember all of their birthdays and their children's birthdays and would send them each a text on that special day. Each one would reply to her with a "Thank you, Love you", which would always make her happy.
