William “Robert” Waters | Eastern NC Now

    Mr. William "Robert" Waters, age 73, a resident of Smaw Road, Washington, died Friday, October 29, 2021 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

    The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday, November 1, 2021 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. A graveside service will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, conducted by Pastor Travis Boyd.

    The following will serve as pallbearers: Kenneth Parker, Scott Hammonds, Larry Hodgkins, Jim Linson, Joshua Parker, and Carl Mayo.

    Mr. Waters was born in Beaufort County on August 10, 1948. He was the son of the late James Robert Waters and Carsie Gray Alligood Waters. Mr. Waters was service manager for 32 years at Motors Parts. In 2000, he opened Robert's Furniture and operated it for many years. Mr. Waters was a former member of the Masonic Lodge. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working on cars and meeting friends at his furniture store.

    On June 17, 1972, Mr. Waters married to the former Kathy Perry, who survives.

    Surviving with his wife are his daughter, Brandy Lynn Wallace and husband, Walt of Washington; son William Justin Waters and significant other, Katherine of Washington; two grandchildren, Trey Robertson, Ashleigh Morgan Wallace; two sisters, Linda Boyd and husband, Travis, Libby Polk and husband, Robert all of Washington.

    In addition to his parents, Mr. Waters was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Godley and a brother, Jimmie Ray Waters.
