Happy Holidays! In case you missed it, the Republican National Committee has been spending this holiday season hosting dozens of charity drives across the country, with 7 being held in North Carolina alone.

    Happy Holidays!

    In case you missed it, the Republican National Committee has been spending this holiday season hosting dozens of charity drives across the country, with 7 being held in North Carolina alone. The RNC's North Carolina charity drives benefitted over 400 children and frontline healthcare workers across the state.

    "Republicans are focused on truly making a difference in our communities and building lasting relationships through serving others. Through these holiday charity drives, Republicans are living our values and showing that there is a place for every North Carolinian in the Republican Party."- RNC Spokeswoman Alex Nolley

    Below is a list of North Carolina's charity drives:

  • November 16: Republican volunteers in Wilmington wrote over 50 holiday cards to be paired with Operation Christmas Child boxes.
  • November 17: Over 30 Republican volunteers from Northeastern North Carolina wrote holiday cards for patients at the local children's hospital.
  • November 20: Republican volunteers and staff in Greensboro made over 50 Operation Christmas Child boxes filled with toys and hygiene items.
  • December 2: Republican volunteers in Robeson County collected more than 150 toys to donate to local churches, providing holiday assistance to families.
  • December 11: Republican volunteers and staff in Beaufort wrote holiday cards for patients at the local children's hospital.
  • December 11: Over 20 Republican women in the Mecklenburg area wrote holiday cards and paired them with stuffed animals for patients at Levine Children's Hospital.
  • December 14: Republican women in Rowan county wrote nearly 75 holiday cards for frontline workers at their local hospital.

School announced yesterday that the so called forums at Chocowinity Middle School tonight (April 29,2025) and S.W. Snowden (Thursday May 1, 2025) have been cancelled pending the managers proposed budget.

The political schedule has suddenly become complicated. This is because the Republican party is deliberately scheduling events to conflict with our schedule.
The Conservative Club meets Wednesday February 26 at 6:00 pm at King Chicken Restaurant.
Karen Brinson Bell, executive director of the NC State Board of Elections, recently was elected incoming president of the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED), putting her in line to serve as association president in 2026.
