Lillian N. Carrow | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Lillian N. Carrow, age 88, a resident of Chocowinity, died Wednesday June 15, 2022, at her home.

    A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington officiated by the Rev. Mike Scott and Rev. Paul Grubbs. Burial will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Ricky Carrow, Tony Carrow, Paul Carrow, Jeff Carrow, Brantley Carrow and Chad Jones will serve as pallbearers. Perry Carrow, Johnny Ray Marslender and David Marslender will serve as honorary pallbearers.

    Mrs. Carrow was born September 2, 1933, daughter of the late George Allen Nobles and Martha Elizabeth Wilson Nobles. On April 7, 1950, she married the late Charlie Norman Carrow who preceded her in death January 24, 2013. Mrs. Carrow was an employee of Walmart in Washington, NC where she retired and was attending Union Chapel FWB Church but still a member of Oak Grove FWB Church.

    Mrs. Carrow is survived by her children: James Carrow and wife Jalaine of Johnson City, TN; Janice Buck and husband Glavin of Chocowinity, Judy Upton and husband Tommy of Washington; and Jenny Carrow and friend Lisa Shaw of Elizabeth City: her sister, Ruth Tripp of Fayetteville, NC and sister-in-law, Lucille Nobles of Pollocksville, NC: seven grand-children, nineteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Clarence Ray Nobles.

    The family will receive friends on Saturday June 18, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.
