Larry Wayne Anderson | Eastern NC Now

    Larry Wayne Anderson, age 83, a resident of Washington, N.C., died Friday June 17, 2022 at his home.

    A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 20, 2022 at Oakdale Cemetery, officiated by Tony Krantz.

    The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.

    Mr. Anderson was born in Beaufort County on July 20, 1938, the son of the late Jim Anderson and Connie Estelle Rogers. He served in the US Army and was employed as a supervisor with DuPont. On September 4, 1964, he married the former Louise Broadway, who survives. He enjoyed fishing and wood working and was a volunteer for the Blind Center. Mr. Anderson was a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon.

    In addition to his wife, Mr. Anderson is survived by two children, Beth Sanford (Julian) and Lynn Rattie (Scott), all of Clayton; grandchildren Morgan Sanford of Clayton, Peyton Beaman of Raleigh, and Cameron Beaman of Snow Hill; two sisters, Lucy Brame (Carlton) of Chocowinity and Lisa Anderson of Washington.

    Mr. Anderson is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Estelle Anderson.
