Biden Says Italy’s Democratic Election Threatens Democracy. Pardon? | Eastern NC Now

    Democrats and legacy media love democratically elected women - unless those women stand athwart wokeism, yelling, "Get away from me, you freaks. God. Family. Country."

    Then, those ladies are somehow threats to democracy. The latest example of this can be seen in the Left's reaction to Italy's likely new Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

    Meloni's party, Brothers of Italy, won a plurality of votes in the country's general election this week, thus making her Italy's expected new prime minister. There is zero indication the election was rigged or stolen. Upon her victory, it was obvious that Legacy Media was going to trash her - she's a blonde, Christian woman who rejects radical gender theory and was vehemently against COVID lockdowns. Now, even President Joe Biden is launching into the fray to condemn her as the second coming of Mussolini.

    Wednesday night, the president recouped his mental energy after calling out for a dead congresswoman to compare Meloni to autocratic dictators.

    "Well, folks, you know - and I mean this sincerely; you're going to think this is a little out of whack what I'm going to talk about - but, you know, democracy is at stake," Biden told the crowd Democratic Governors Association Reception.

    The president went on to say that there are examples of anti-democratic forces around the world while adding, "You just saw what's happened in Italy in that election."

    "And the reason I bother to say that is we can't be sanguine about what's happening here either," the president maintained. "I don't want to exaggerate it, but I don't want to understate it."

    Indeed, the president again warned that MAGA Republicans threaten democracy in the U.S. as well.

    Filled with non-sequiturs and spooky language, the message of Biden's speech was obvious; agree with the Left or you are a threat to democracy.

    But they don't mean "democracy" the way most normal people think of that form of government. They mean a form of government in which leftists are completely in control of the people.

    Which is really at the heart of it all.

    Biden and his globalist ilk are totalitarians. They require total fealty and servitude because critical thinking and individual thinking present a danger to Wokeism.

    Their centrally planned world doesn't work if there are any surprises, and the best way to clamp down on surprises is to intimidate people into not speaking up against their agenda. Thus, everyone gets in line, which allows the government to assume more power and for the Woke agenda to be implemented here and abroad.

    In short, Biden and the Left have no desire to protect democracy. They only care about maintaining power.

    So, they'll smear Meloni and anybody else as a "fascist" or whatever they think best harms somebody's reputation.

Inarguably, the policies of the Democrats in congress and Joe Biden as the Executive is plunging the United States into a recession, if we are not already there; a recession that was completely avoidable. Will abrupt changes in policies occur in time?
