U.S.     Babylon Bee writers are scrambling to come up with a last-minute new joke worth the $44 billion Elon Musk spent to bring the satirists back on Twitter.

"C'mon writers think! Elon didn't pay $44 billion for us to make the same two jokes again and again," said editor-In-chief Kyle Mann. "Let's try this: Twitter Assumes Our Gende - UGH IT'S THE SAME JOKE! If we can't think of something funny, he'll just ban us right back"

According to sources, in the 7 months that the Bee has been kicked off Twitter they have been investing all of their resources into developing a 3rd joke, but their efforts so far have been fruitless.

"Oh hey, I know! Let's just combine our two jokes and say 'Twitter Employees Identify As Unemployed After Assuming Elon Musk's Gender'," said another writer.

At publishing time, one of the writers finally pitched "The Babylon Bee Identifies As Being Back On Twitter" sending the writers into a fit of laughter only to realize that it was just their second joke again.
