Random Shots: New Conservative Club offers an alternative for patriots

I attended a different kind of club meeting. The new Beaufort County Conservative Club has adopted its objective to “Uphold Christian values and protect the US Constitution.”
There was a time when this would have sounded redundant but not in these times. The introduction of the proposed change in approach was reminiscent of the opening remarks of Representative Mike Speciale when he made his first address to the N C State House. It is said that he held the Bible in one hand and the US Constitution in the other and stated, “Gentlemen, these are the handbooks”.
The attendees at this meeting were sincere, caring, and motivated people that want to make a difference in Beaufort County. True Conservatives and not political hacks but real Patriots. It was a refreshing atmosphere to hear a positive approach to “How can we correct the problems in our own Backyard”.
The primary focus of the reorganization of this group is to offer a home for true conservatives and unaffiliated and independent voters in Beaufort County.
Adam O’Neal presented a plan to find qualified candidates that have ability and integrity to run in the coming local elections. Everyone voiced an opinion that we are too often left to choose between the lesser of two losers. His committee will be looking for capable people that the club can support.
Ray Leary has been the Chairman of the Education and Curriculum. His committee was instrumental in stopping the Savvas Social Studies Curriculum that would have promoted Gay Pride Month and other liberal agendas. His Committee reported on the last two school board meetings. He has picked up from undisclosed sources that there is now a math program that has included the other watered-down names for CRT. He is wondering why we must keep fighting this unnecessary and useless information being included in math that should be one of the most logical forms of learning. Other information that came out from the budget review shows that we have poor management in the Beaufort County School Administration.
Hood Richardson brought the Club up to date on behind-the-scenes happenings in our County Government. He explained how important it will be for people who wish to run in the upcoming election to register in the party of their choice within the next four months. Unaffiliated candidates have a very difficult set of rules to travers to be able to have their name on a ballot. Hood and Adam O’Neal are available to help any Unaffiliated Candidates, who wish to run in the coming election, learn how to get on the ballot.
The “Rant and Rave” section of the meeting, which is open to public officials to speak and for all Club Members to voice opinions, gave the club good information to help them better understand the role they will need to play to help Beaufort County and it’s Citizens continue to have better government.
Demonstrated by the comradery and smiling faces that I saw at this meeting it leads me to believe that they will be a force to be reckoned with. This will be a good place for like-minded individuals to come together. They are looking for committed patriots.
The Conservative Club meets the third Thursday of each month at King Chicken.

If you look at all the data, going all the way back, including the tree ring data and ice core data, what emerges is a cycle of long term multi-century warming and cooling cycles that have gone on throughour Earth's history. We came out of the last such cooling cycle, known as the Little Ice Age or the Maunder Minimum in the mid-19th century and have been in a warming cycle since then, so, of course temperatures are rising. Because of the way sun spots impact water vapor on Earth (which is the most important Greenhouse gas of all), we may be due for a reversal soon if the astronomers predicitions on sunspots come true.
An interesting aspect of the data that blows the whole theory of manmade global warming due to CO2 out of the water is that the study of ice core samples shows that the rise in CO2 in the Earth's atmosphere FOLLOWS the rise in temperature by several hundred years, meaning it is a RESULT of the warming, NOT a cause. |

Like I said, I hope you're right. But the data says planet is warming and the process is accelerating due to human activity. In a way, it is a natural phenomenon in that a population, any population, will alter their environment as the population grows. I still think dumping all that carbon in the airI means we are gonna cook.

Clearly, you know nothing on this subject outside the globalist narrative you parrot. There are quite a few books out by honest scientists which blow away the myths of the climate cult, and also an excellent British TV documentary that does so. Oh, and I got an A in igh school biology.

You are parroting one of the climate cult's big lies, their claim that CO2 is "pollution" which it is NOT. CO2 is a necessary nutriet for plants. Without it, all plant life would die, followed by all animial life as the food chain collapsed. Plants take in CO2 in photosynthesis and give off Oxygen. It is part of the cycle of life. It is profoundly ignorant to call CO2 a "pollutant".
Alos, you climate cultists deny that the Greenhouse Effect is necesary for life to exist on Earth. Without it, the planet would be too cold to sustain life. You denigrate something that is necessary for life on earth. And you focus on some of the most minor greenhouse gasses. The most important greenhouse gas, responsible for over 90% of the Greenhouse Effect is water vapor. The pagan cult of Climate SCientology ignores climate history to make claims that have no basis in fact and demand that policy be massively adjusted to meet their demands. |
