Consistency in the Upsurge of Traffic is Key for BCN | Eastern North Carolina Now

November's traffic for Symbiotic Publishing Company's Beaufort County Now remained in the range consistent with the October upsurge in traffic; however, all pertinent metrics representing traffic did increase. October was an especially strong month in traffic due to a number of factors, not least of which being the upcoming General Election on November 2, 2010 and the political machinations swirling around the Beaufort Regional health System (BRHS) debacle.

The strongest increase in these vital metrics for the news and information franchise, Beaufort County Now (BCN), was the 7% increase in unique IP addresses logging onto BCN gained from 493 per day to 530. A unique IP addresses is exactly one address logging onto another, and being counted as 1 time per day, irrespective of the number of times, or the number of people, who log onto BCN's address from that IP location, it always counts as just 1 time that day. We estimate that due to the number of hits we have per day, and the number of files that are accessed by our readership, we estimate that we are averaging 1,050 to 1,100 people per day visiting Beaufort County Now.

Stan Deatherage, Symbiotic Networks President and Publisher of Beaufort County Now recently stated, "I believe that BCN could be the faster growing website in the region due to our growth in traffic statistics that I am seeing, and some of the channel checks that I am discovering from our competition. It is certainly my ambition to one day attain that mantel, and if one considers the traffic that is also growing on our sister sites: Pitt County Now, Craven County Now, will certainly achieve that distinction sooner rather that later."

Shown here below are our statistics exhibiting our growth as a regional North Carolina County media concern.
