Elizabeth Carol Jones Paramore | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Elizabeth Carol Jones Paramore, age 81, a resident of Chocowinity, NC passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday September 23, 2023.

    A private graveside service was held at Pamlico Memorial Gardens officiated by Craig Godley.

    Mrs. Paramore was born in Beaufort County on October 19, 1941, daughter of the late Hubert Earl Jones and Eula Mae Clark Jones who survives. She attended Chocowinity High School. On December 21, 1957, she married Major Carl Paramore who survives. Together, with each one considering the other the love of their life, they built a life together for sixty-five years. Her greatest love was for her family and her church family. Mrs. Paramore helped her husband in providing for their family by working at the Shirt Factory and Stanadyne Assembly plant, both in Washington. She worshiped her Lord and Savior at Fifteenth Street Church of God.

    Surviving along with her husband Carl of the home, and her mother: Eula of Chocowinity are her children: Leslie Carl Paramore and his wife Trudy of Blounts Creek, and Angie Jensen and her husband Danny of Moro, IL; brothers: Michael Jones of Blounts Creek and Pee Wee Jones and his wife Sylvia of Chocowinity; sisters: Debbie Boyd and Judy Campbell both of Chocowinity; grandchildren; Ji Paramore, Alan Brooks and Daniel Jensen; and great grandchildren: Gavin Paramore, Brandon and Wayland Brooks, and Kendal Jensen.
