Good evening all. One Stop has ended.

News Release:

Good evening all. One Stop has ended.

Today's Final one stop report is attached. It also includes statistics on the 10 mail absentee ballots that we have received as of today. I have also included an additional statistical report with party, race, and gender. Additional mail absentees may be received after today if they are delivered to our office by 5 pm on election day or are postmarked by election day and received by the BOE by 11/13/2023.

I have audited the turnout statistics and there was one correction. 3 voters were reported in Belhaven that should have been reported in Chocowinity. The change is in red on the one stop total report.

If voters have not voted as of today, they will need to vote on Election Day at their PRECINCT. We do not have voting here at the office on Election Day. Polls are open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm.

The following will be used as Municipal Precincts/Polling Places:

Reminder: The Washington Ward 1 Polling Place was moved to the East Haven Apartment Community Room from the Redmen's Lodge. All Ward 1 voters were mailed a notice. It is a block west of the Redmen's Lodge and across from the Veteran's Park. The Building is a multi-story apartment building and the community room is at the back of the building.

If you need information on where a voter's election day precinct is, you can look them up at https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/ This can also be used on a cell phone. Voter Look Up can also be utilized to see if a voter is registered or if they are within the municipality. Same day registration ended today at 3 pm tomorrow. You cannot register on Election Day.

Also, there is a black out period for the BOE to produce voter IDs between the end of one stop and Election Day. We now unable to provide IDs until 8:00 am on Wednesday, November 8th.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions.
