Exclusive Hollywood Screening Showing IDF Footage Of Hamas Atrocities Organized By Gal Gadot And Oscar-Winning Director: Report | Eastern NC Now

    Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot reportedly helped schedule an upcoming screening for Hollywood celebrities and prominent figures to view nearly an hour of footage of Hamas terrorizing Israeli communities near the Gaza Strip in early October.

    Gadot, 38, joined Oscar-winning Israeli director Guy Nattiv in organizing the event, according to Israeli-based media.

    "Gal Gadot and her husband, Yaron Varsano, helped make this possible," Nattiv said.

    The footage provided by an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson reportedly shows 47 minutes of atrocities committed by Hamas, who murdered more than 1,400 people in Israel on October 7.

    Nattiv, 50, who won the Best Short Film Oscar for "Skin" at the Academy Awards in 2019, described himself as a humanist advocating for a two-state solution between Israel and Palestinian-controlled territories. The filmmaker said he felt compelled to screen the footage after much of the world remained detached from the suffering of the Jewish population during the Holocaust era.

    "As a filmmaker, I swore that these images of October 7 would not be forgotten, and the world would see them," Nattiv said. "Because now the denial begins - it is a fake, it is not a fake (...) We cannot pass by in silence."

    According to the outlet, hundreds of foreign journalists and members of the Israeli Knesset have already viewed the footage and described the content as deeply disturbing. Some Israeli lawmakers were too overwhelmed to finish watching the recordings.

    "People who have film experience, so we can show them this crazy document that is reminiscent of the films created about the Holocaust," Nattiv said.

    Details about the guest list or the screening location remain undisclosed. Still, the outlet reported the organizers plan to have one initial screening for 120 spectators and then possibly schedule additional screenings.

    It comes as no surprise that Gadot helped organize the event - she joined hundreds of celebrities who signed an open letter in support of Israel that condemns the recent terrorist attacks by Hamas.

    The list included Jerry Seinfeld, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Pine, Mayim Bialik, Liev Schreiber, Amy Schumer, and Michael Douglas - to name a few of the more than 700 celebrities and entertainment professionals who signed the letter, which was created by the nonprofit organization Creative Community For Peace. Besides recounting the horrors of the attack, the letter urges people not to "amplify or fall for" the "propaganda" that's being circulated online in a "misinformation campaign spearheaded by Iran."
