The Commissioners of Beaufort Regional Medical Authority (BRHS) were scheduled to submit their recommendation to the board of county commissioners at that meeting after their meeting earlier in the day at 3:00 PM to consider what that recommendation to the county commissioners would be.

The Beaufort County region around Washington has recieved around 6 inches of snow through 7:00 PM, Sunday, and "with the temperatures projected to be well below freezing on the December 26, 27, the meeting would be untenable," spoke Beaufort County Manager Paul Spruill. County Manager Spruill commented, "We'll try to meet on January 3, 2011. We'll let everyone know once we have scheduled a time."
