Governor Pat McCrory announced the following direct appointments today

    Raleigh, NC     Governor Pat McCrory announced the following direct appointments today:

North Carolina Social Services Commission


    Sandy Partin (Halifax County) - Partin is a retired educator. She currently resides in Halifax County and will represent the 1st Congressional District on the commission.

    Ginny Cooper (Pitt County) - Cooper is a retired family law paralegal and is now the chairwoman of the Pitt County GOP. She will represent the 3rd Congressional District on the commission.

    John Sandrock (Harnett County) - Sandrock is employed by the Veterans Service Office in Lee County. He will represent the 4th Congressional District on the commission.

    Larry Potts (Davidson County) - Potts is the president of Southland Construction Company and a county commissioner in Davidson County. Additionally, he has experience on the Davidson County Social Services Board. He will represent the 5th Congressional District on the commission and has been appointed as Chairman of the commission.

    Tony Hall (Rowan County) - Hall is a pastor at the Cornerstone Church is Landis, NC. He will represent the 8th Congressional District on the commission.

    Phillip Davis (Union County) - Davis is the senior pastor at Nations Ford Community Church in Charlotte. He will represent the 9th Congressional District on the commission.

    Ronald Roukema (Caldwell County) - Roukema is a retired correctional officer from the Department of Public Safety and has experience on the Caldwell County Social Services Board. He will represent the 11th Congressional District on the commission.

    Olga Wright (Forsyth County) - Wright is a paralegal at Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP. Additionally, she is a member of the NC Advisory Committee for the U.S. Civil Rights Commission. She will represent the 12th Congressional District on the commission.
