Lola Lee Keech Paszt | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Lola Lee Keech Paszt, age 81, a resident of Washington, NC died Tuesday March 5, 2024, at Ridgewood Manor of Washington.

    A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 9, 2024, at First Christian Church of Washington officiated by Gillian Pollock. Pallbearers will be Blake Paszt, Zach Coutts, Cruz Eakes, Justin Brown, Tyler Suggs, and Brooks Elks.

    The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday March 8, 2024, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.

    Mrs. Paszt was born on September 26, 1942, daughter of the late Garland Maxie Keech and the late Evelyn Messer Keech. She was a graduate of Pantego High School. On June 2, 1963, she married Richard Stan Paszt who preceded her in death on November 25, 2021. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls, bingo, playing cards, yard work, and gardening.

    Survivors include her children: Richard Paszt, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Pinetown, Carolyn P. Coutts and her husband Brett of Oak Island, NC, and Sharon P. Jankowski of Washington; a sister: Marie K Brinn of Belhaven; grandchildren: Blake Winfield Paszt and his wife Tristin, Ashley LeeAnn Paszt, Megan Paszt Eakes and her husband Cruz, Sierra Coutts Brown and husband Justin, Zachary Maxwell Coutts, Ryan Francis Jankowski, and Hope Linda Jankowski and a great grandchild: Worth Richard Paszt.

    She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by a sister: Carolyn K. Boyd; and a son in law: Frank Jankowski.
