How will Biden's TItle IX distortion impact our public schools? | Eastern North Carolina Now

Biden regime intends to force public school compliance as well as colleges

ENCNow

The Biden regime's recent rewrite through executive fiat of Title IX which turned what Congress passed forty years ago completely on its head was geared primarily to colleges and universities, but Biden officials say that parts of it will definitely be applied to local public schools as well, and are evasive on how they will apply other parts to public schools. Their evasiveness is probably a function of this being an election year.

As passed by Congress, Title IX was written to protect women and womens rights in college and particularly in sports, but the Biden regime has written women out of Title IX and wants to use it instead to protect "gender identity", "sexual preference" and the like.  Those are things never intended by Congress when the legislation was passed.

So what will be dumped on public schools?  Forced use of pronouns that do not reflect biological reality, letting people of the opposite biological sex into restrooms and locker rooms, letting biological boys cheat in sports by playing on girls teams, and similar things are all in play.

In pushing this new regulation, Biden is not only standing Congressional legislation on its head, but also directly undermining the First Amendment by requiring forced speech.

We need strong local school board members who will tell the Biden radicals to stuff these new regulations where the sun does not shime, even if that neans turning away their federal dollars for county schools.
