Oklahoma passes bill to ban illegal aliens from living in the state | Eastern NC Now

Governor expected to sign into law

ENCNow

Given the lawless Biden regime's refusal to obey or enforce national immigration laws passed by Congress, states are stepping into the breach to protect their citizens from being overrun with illegal aliens.  Texas led the way, and the latest in Oklahoma, where both houses of the legislature have passed a bill to make it a state crime for an illegal alien to live in the state.  First offenses are misdemeanors and the illegal alien must leave the state within 72 hours, and subsequent offenses are felonies.   Governor Stitt is expected to sign the legislation.

Iowa, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Georgia are also pursuing similar legislation.

When will North Carolina take up such legislation?

Immigration law is complex, and it has been obeyed and enforced by presidents up to lawless Biden. In fact, there are some aspects of asylum treaties which other countries are enforcing but no US president has done so as yet. For example, someone already in a safe country is not entitled to claim asylum in a third country. If we would just enforce those treaty provisions, we could shut down asylum requests coming from those crossing both our southern and northern borders.

If you want to know the complexities of immigration law, talk to a legal immigrant. Those complexities are still enforced as to them, although Biden wavies them for illegal aliens who thumb their noses at our laws.

I think immigration law is far more complex than you think.. just a guess.

First of all it is a major LEGAL issue. We have a lawless regime in power that refuses to obey our duly adopted immigration laws. Those who are in the US in violation of those laws need to be rounded up and sent home. Then the lawless politicicans responsible need to be prosecutred for it. The only political issuer is finding politicians with the backbone to obey and enforce the law, like Donald Trump.

Illegal immigration is a huge issue in Oklahoma, as it is in most of America. Their Benedict Arnold style traitor, Senator James Lankford who tries to legislatively approve Biden's lawless acts to bring in illegal aliens in a rotten deal with the left, is a marked man. The Oklahoma Republican Party voted overwhelmingly to withdraw their support from him and he will be a goner in the next primary. The fool Lankford even said publicly that he thought illegal aliens should be treated the same as legal immigrants. Lankford was challenged from the right previously by a Speaker of the Oklahoma state House but survived then. He will not survive the next challenge from the right.

When Democrats realize that their party has left them. It is no longer the Democrat Party of yesterday. Like Boy Scouts and some other great organizations rot has crept in and destroyed it. We all need to look at what is right and not what is Party.

North Carolina needs to pass a similar piece of legislation.
