With Middle East aflame, Biden uses US oil reserves to play domestic politics | Eastern NC Now

The United States has prudently created stockpiles of both petroleum and refined gasoline to have been available if supply is cut off.  Biden is now at it a second time draining these reserves for personal political purposes to try to lower gasoline prices by election day.  He has recently issued an executive order to start draining our refined gasoline reserves to try to lower pump prices by election day.

Biden is doing this while open warfare is wracking the Middle East where much of the world's oil suppy comes from.  Biden obviously considers his personal political interests outweight consideration of the energy security of the country as a whole.

This is the second time Biden has pulled such a political stunt with our energy reserves.  To try to lower gas prices at the pump to bolster Democrats in the 2022 election, Biden drained one third of our Strategic Petroleum Reserve, 180 million barrels.  Much of that was even sold abroad, including to Communist China.

What is really leading to high gas prices is Biden's wacky globalist climate cult energy policies that has shut off too much of our own oil and gas production.  We will have to wait until Trump gets back in office to reverse those disastrous policies.
