    Lucille Peele Bonner, age 90, of Washington, NC died Tuesday, July 30, 2013.

    Cille was born on November 30, 1922 in Royal, NC. She was the daughter of the late Robert (Rob) Troy Peele, Sr. and Mollie Bonner Cuthrell Peele.

    She was married to William (Bill) Crawford Bonner, Jr. on August 4, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1997.

    Cille worked at Tayloe's Hospital Pharmacy in Washington for 22 years. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Washington, NC.

    She is survived by three daughters, Cheryl (Cherry) Bonner Thomas and husband, Jesse, of Bethel, NC, Peggy Bonner Jefferson, Barbara (Babs) Bonner Chandler and husband, Tommy, all of Washington, NC

    Cille had three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren - William Gregory (Greg) Thomas and wife Nicki of Raleigh, Torrey Ronald Jefferson and Mollie Bonner Jefferson of Washington. Great grandchildren are Ross, Logan, and Camryn Thomas.

    Cille was preceded in death by her brother, Robert (Bob) Troy Peele, Jr. of Ayden.

    There will be a graveside service for Cille at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington, NC at 11:00 am Thursday, August 1, 2013. Steve Hill and Ray West will officiate.

    Her family will receive friends at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 31, 2013 and at other times at Cille's home at 804 McNair Street.
