Audrey Buck Moore | Eastern NC Now

    Pearl was born the tenth child of twelve children born to the late Jesse and Velma Buck of Chocowinity. She graduated from Chocowinity High School and attended Beaufort Community College. She married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life Aubrey Moore. Pearl spent most of her life working alongside Aubrey at the Washington Yacht & Country Club where they raised their family. Together they had three children, Leisa, Scott and Joe Wayne Moore, all of Washington. They gave her grandchildren, Scottie, Joseph, Ryan, Katlyn, Jordan, Aaron, Riley, Meghan, Alaina; two step-grandchildren, Stacey and Lauren Davis; great grandchildren, Trey, Avah, Kelly, Sam, Cole, Easton, Wayne, Waylon, Wrenley, Reagan and an extended family and friends.

    She became very close to Trey, her sunshine and immediately he became a part of her and Aubrey's life. There he held a special place in their hearts. Pearl loved cooking and spending time with all her family, beach trips, and doing for others. Most importantly she loved to hang out with her husband, they were inseparable. Pearl was a strong believer in God, in 1997 she was baptized in the Faith Free Will Baptist Church on River Road.

    A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.

    The family will greet friends at the homeplace in Chocowinity on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
