    Mrs. Lois Faye Clark Pate, age 82, a resident of River Trace Nursing Center of Washington died Saturday August 10, 2013.

    A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 14, 2013 at Oakdale Cemetery of Washington officiated by Steve Hill.

    Mrs. Pate was born in Robertson County, TN on February 2, 1931 daughter of the late John Edwin Clark, Sr. and the late Robbie Harrison Clark. She was a 1950 graduate of Springfield High School in Springfield, TN and continued her education in Business College. While living in Old Hickory, TN Mrs. Pate was the owner-operator of a small Kennel which she provided many with a special pet. She was a member of First Church of God in Mount Juliet, TN.

    Mrs. Pate is survived by a son: Montgomery C. Pate and his wife Cynthia of Chocowinity; and two grandchildren: Alan Michael Pate of New York, NY and Stephanie Lynn Pate of Raleigh. Mrs. Pate was predeceased by his parents and a brother: John E. Clark, Jr.

    The family will receive friends at the home of her son located at 211 Harbour Drive, Chocowinity.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to the Marion L. Sheppard Cancer Center, c/o Patient Assistance Fund, 1209 Brown Street, Washington, NC 27889.
